We had so much fun the first time, we went back again the next day! The first day was with another family of 3 with our family of 4, totaling 4 adults and 3 kids. We split the group and let the kids go as a group and adults go as a group. We are highly competitive adults! There is a cash discount when paying and ATM onsite though, with the fee, you're probably better off using a credit card. Cash options are $12/adults and $9/kids age 12 and under. You can choose the left side which is labeled the "harder" side or right which is labeled "easier". Each course is 18 holes. A scorecard is provided for each side. The holes are not labeled. Follow the scorecard for hole descriptions. There are not many places to sit when holes get backed up and bring plenty of water as most of the course is in the sun. We did one course during the day and the next day we went after sunset. The course is landscaped and appears to be more maintained on the hard side than the easy side however, we found the easy side to be quite difficult and I never laughed so hard at times. Maybe it was so easy, we made it hard! There were holes on the easy side that appeared to have missing structures and looked just like a putting green, no whimsy or structure to putt around or through. Caution, the turtle on the easy side nearly made me pee myself laughing. My husband just took the 7 stroke penalty. As a hen mom, I especially liked the hen who poops out the ball. I dont want to give too much of the course away. It was fun for adults and kids and I especially liked seeing the clubs being...

Magic Carpet Mini-Golf on Galveston Island wins my award for best Mini-Golf course that I've ever played. The course is:

  1. Filled with really fun obstacles, like a giant dragon, a giant red ant, a giant sea shell, a cannon that fires your ball into a castle, a giant snake with light-up eyes, and most importantly, a giant wheel of cheese.

  2. Challenging in unique ways, with the obstacles and the turns in the course creating a more interesting mini-golf experience than your average course. Come on down and try to get your ball to go through the right hole in the wheel of holey Swiss Cheese!

  3. Landscaped beautifully, with palm trees, lush plants and tropical flowers, such as the gorgeous Canna "Yellow King Humbert." The course also winds its way first down and then up a fairly substantial hill, making use of the different levels of the hill at every turn.

  4. Situated on a hill overlooking both Galveston Beach and a lagoon, providing gorgeous views of the ocean, a restaurant called Jimmy's on the Pier, and the lagoon surrounded by more lush plant life.

Overall, the course is both gorgeous and...

Our visit to Magic Carpet Golf was a delightful experience for the whole family. We decided to play a round of putt-putt with my granddaughter and wife, and it turned out to be a fantastic outing.

The course itself was charming and well-designed, offering a variety of challenges that kept us entertained throughout our game. Each hole had its own unique features and obstacles, adding an element of excitement to the game.

One thing that stood out to us was the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire facility. The course grounds were immaculately maintained, and the equipment provided was in excellent condition. This attention to detail enhanced our enjoyment of the experience and ensured that everything ran smoothly.

Overall, Magic Carpet Golf provided us with a fun and memorable outing. We appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the opportunity to spend quality time together in a beautiful setting. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun-filled activity...
