Got a membership and have been coming for about a year now because it’s the only driving range open later at night. Never have hit range balls that have chipped my irons. Got a new set of mizuno 223s recently and only hit at the range. And now my pw has a crack on the face and another one is chipped. The Executive course is to much for the condition. Lots of sand on the green and a few greens are missing grass. Tough to putt due to the greens that do have grass it’s like putting on carpet. The nine hole course is in decent shape, but could be easily cut down and fixed around the greens. Club house workers are nice, but never experienced when your trying to hit range balls the gentleman in the picker comes and picks them up right in front of we’re your hitting in like a 5-10 yard distance from you. Could Just wait for the range to clear and then get them up. For the money go play an 18 hole course it’s not worth it. For the range go and spend an extra 10-15 or your clubs will be damaged and or chipped. Will be looking at cancelling the membership...
Read moreCustomer service side of the course was interesting. Had a member of our group rent clubs, you are required to leave an I.D. Very unfortunate as rental clubs they the rent can be bought at a tag sale... Staff had an ok deminer, however not the greatest. We played the executive course. Things to note, 4 holes out of 18 are par 4's, and the other 14 holes are par 3's. Almost every par 3, is a 115-130 yards at most with almost the same distance and almost the same look. Nothing here is hard, and nothing but a waste of money. If you play here your better off going to their driving range and hitting your pitching wedge and it's less than $20. Greens are so slow, I don't believe they roll greens here, maybe cut once a week? Lots of dry heat damage to the greens. If you are a low handicap player, save your money and go somewhere else. Very disappointed in the course especially being recognized by the usga, definitely an upset in the Myrtle beach...
Read moreI'm still sort of new to golf. I haven't really played since I was 18. I was recommended by a few co workers to try out the par 3 here and it wasn't exactly the greatest experience. The par 3 has disc golf and foot golf course combined with the par 3 golf course which to me feels like a bit of distraction. The hitting mats at the tee boxes were very uneven to the point your golf ball would roll off in the middle of the swing. At the time I was there we weren't aloud to hit off the grass. The lights at the par 3 course barely worked. They had numerous lights out to the point where you couldn't see the pin and you just had to hit the ball and pray it hit the green. The price was about right for it which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. I will eventually give it another in the future and hopefully it will be a better experience next. Can't really judge it from...
