This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food and was the most delightful surprise. Erika is the mother and owner who clearly takes pride in preparing each dish with love. Having traveled all over Mexico, we can attest this is the best Mexican food we’ve eaten stateside. Do yourself a favor and order the carnitas tacos, the aqua Fresca with mango or strawberries AND definitely try the chicken or pork tamales. This is one of the finest small businesses in the entire beach area. Our recommendation is to read the menu, order ahead and eat by the beach. The location is in the main flea market building and is perfect for takeout, although they do have a nice seating area adjacent. You won’t regret it! This is the best kept secret! We are from the Charlotte area and will visit Erika and her family on...
Read moreI am not sure that 5 stars is enough. We have been there a couple of times now and have NOT been disappointed. Amazing authentic tacos. I felt like I was eating street food in Mexico City. The ELOTE is huge, fresh corn, seasoned & cooked perfectly! I am a local and these are the BEST tacos I have ever had here. It's hard to choose between soft or hard shell because they are both so delicious. Fresh produce and fruit. The fruit slush was OUTSTANDING. This is a place that I would like to eventually try everything on their menu because I know it is going to be delicious, fresh and a great value every time. The owner Erika and her family/staff are amazing, warm, welcoming people. The RATINGS are NOT wrong. Go....
Read moreThis is a hidden gem in the flea market. The food here is Absolutely Delicious! We went on a Thursday. There are bar stools where you order & area to the left for dining that is out of the way of foot traffic. Erica went out of her way to make us feel comfortable by bringing a fan closer to us. (Keep in mind, it was a slow day.) We ordered chicken & steak tacos $3.25 each, rice $2, beans $2, food is authentic. Menu shows churro's, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos and breakfast menu shows bagels, croissants, burritos, hash browns. We plan to go back & try her chorizo con huevos for breakfast. We have tried different Mexican restaurants from N.Myrtle to Surfside & this will now be our...
