Dollar General — Local services in Surfside Beach

The cashier young blonde with dark high lights was on her cellphone the entire time I was in the store, she got irritated when I finally got up to checkout rolled her eyes and told her friend on the cell phone well let me go I have to deal with this, I was in the store 30 or more minutes she was holding the phone to her ear with one hand scanning customers stuff with the other one thing very slowly at a time, I wish I was her boss and had walked in to see that, She would have been fired on the spot. My job has a no cell phone policy while you are on the clock and I firmly believe in that policy. Dollar general is a great place to shop normally. Rant over

Yes, they are open. Drove by numerous times and with papered over windows and run down exterior I always thought it was closed. Never did like DG’s narrow, stacked high shelves that give it a claustrophobic feel to it and I’ve yet to see one busy. Some good deals but a lot of grocery store prices. Place was clean...

The store usually has everything that you possibly could need they also have extra strong bags but I'm glad to see that they care you do not have to worry about your milk you Pepsi-Cola has fallen out of your back or busting out of it so this store has got it right on their bags wish the rest of the stores...
