I'm visiting from Ohio with my wife and two of her siblings. My Bro-in law and I wanted to go to a local bar, to soak up some of the local atmosphere. My Bro-in law had wanted to check out another local bar with dead and dog in the title but we found out from a "local" that it was actually a restaurant, even though the title said "saloon". After perusing the "coupon book" for ideas and strking out, we took to the internet. Ole Google came through again. Beer 30 came up and after checking out the reviews and photos, we decided to give it a try. The place is in a little strip mall. All in all the buildings looked a little run down, but the atmosphere inside was great. Miranda, (l hope I'm spelling it right) the Barmaid was friendly and jovial. She greeted us with a smile and a friendly greeting. As did a costomer standing at the bar waiting for his drinks. One look around the room and I knew we had picked the right place. The age of the crowd was diversified. A couple of twenty somethings, a few mid range, and the rest older like myself. The place was decorated for Halloween, and rather well-done done too, (as the photos show). Now, I'm not much of a drinker any more. Maybe a pint of wine a couple times a month. I know most bars serve low alcohol wine in those little bottles, and from what I could see from my view of the fridge, so did they. Although, when I asked about wine, Miranda listed off a larger selection than most bars up home carry. I chose to try something else. In my youth and beyond, I was a Tequila man, so I ordered a shot of the house Tequila and a "Miro brew" chaser. Sweet Water "420" or something like that. I also haven't drank beer in years, and ordered this due to a photo from their bar review, online. Being an ex stoner from way back, I found the "420" road sign on the can cool. It was a pale ale, and took some getting use to. But, by the third shot it was tasting pretty damn good. After two shots, and half the beer, I asked Miranda about their top shelf Tequila, explaining to her that all I ever drank was either Mescal, or the cheap stuff. She told me about it, "Don Julio", but said she preferred a different, (and less expensive) brand. I tried the higher priced one, (I am on vacation after all). I gotta say, I was not impressed, and wish I would have went with Miranda's recommendation. It tasted about like all Tequilas to me, just a little less bite. For the price, I would pick the cheaper stuff. My Bro, struck up conversations with a couple of locals coming up to the bar for drinks. They were friendly, and answered some "cost of living" questions about the area. They had a couple of pool tables in the bar, from what I could see, and a few other games. I didn't notice any pinball machines, but I was there for a few drinks, not games. We didn't order food, but was told it was good, by a couple of the locals we talked to. The place was not packed, but had a decent crowd for a Wednesday afternoon, in the off season. We really enjoyed ourselves, and went all touristy, and bought t-shirts to commemorate the visit. We hope to return before our trip ends in a couple of days. BTW, I would give them a 5 star across the board, but due to OCD, I stay with even numbers. LOL.

Got to local camp ground near by for 3 weeks stay and stopped in for a quick beer while waiting to pickup pizza next door. Girl at bar added $4 dollar tip on $4 tab. Didn't want to make a stink in front of the locals so i signed the check and left. Just wanted to warn others... seems like a nice place that my wife and I would have liked to frequent while in town. Will not be going back.

Standard bar and billiard atmosphere. The staff was friendly. They have a menu if you come with an appetite. Lots of locals. Line dancing and taco Tuesdays. Bingo on Wednesdays. It’s always Beer:30 here!

5 of us walked into this place wanting supper and drink some beer. Waited 5 minutes and no acknowledgement what so ever. Finally went to the bar and then they told us they did not wait tables and then rather than offering us a menu while standing at the bar we had to ask for one. we said screw this place all five of us got up and walked out. this is the most horrible place I have ever been and I’m 64 years old and been to a lot a bar and grills and this was the worst I have ever been to in my 64 years of living. I’m sure this is good for the local but make it a private club for the locals. if you do not want tourist in your place put a sign...

If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. The service was great from the bartender but the Karaoke DJ was awful. One thing I hate is what I call a sliding DJ. When you put in a song to sing that is where you should be put in line to sing. This guy slid my name back a bunch so his buddies could sing. One dude sang 2 song since I put mine in and i know I put mine in before his. Another guy went up there right after I requested a song and what do you know he gets to go right up and I get slid down the list. Decent place Crappy Karaoke DJ. Will never go back just...
