Review: Headspa Experience
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mimosa Headapa and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to unwind and rejuvenate.
Ambiance: Upon entering the Headspa, I was immediately struck by the calming ambiance. The soft lighting, soothing music, and aromatic scents created a serene environment that set the tone for the entire experience. The staff greeted me warmly, and I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in.
Services: I opted for the heavenly head massage experience , which included a variety of techniques designed to relieve tension and promote relaxation. The therapist was highly skilled, using a combination of gentle kneading, acupressure, and soothing oils. I could feel the stress melting away as she worked on my scalp, neck, and shoulders. The treatment also included a warm towel wrap, which added an extra layer of comfort.
Personalization: One of the standout aspects of my visit was the personalized approach. Before the session, the therapist took the time to understand my specific needs and any areas of tension I wanted to focus on. This attention to detail made a significant difference in the overall experience.
Results: After the treatment, I felt incredibly relaxed and centered. Not only did my scalp feel revitalized, but I also noticed a marked improvement in my overall mood and energy levels. It was a fantastic way to release built-up stress and tension.
Conclusion: The Headspa experience was nothing short of blissful. Whether youāre looking for relaxation, relief from headaches, or simply a moment of self-care, I highly recommend treating yourself to a visit. The skilled therapists, tranquil environment, and holistic approach to wellness make it a must-try for anyone in need of some pampering. I canāt wait to return for...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePretty nice head spa spot with lots of availability. We were scheduled to arrive at 5:30pm but they were able to accommodate us at 5pm.
The ladies are all very nice but there is certainly a language barrier. The process of the head spa was interesting, and it wasn't really as "instagram worthy" as one might think.
We both got the emerald package, and they spent more time on the "facial" than the scalp massage. The woman who did my scalp massage had the sharpest nails and it felt like claws on my head. It felt nice, but it was almost painful. Overall it felt relaxing, my scalp feels clean, and my hair felt great afterward, too.
I would absolutely NOT recommend the facial upgrade. I've had a lot of facials in my life and the one that was done at Mimosa was not only a let down, but possibly dangerous as well. The first and second cleanse were both followed up by what I can only describe as being partially waterboarded. Instead of using towels to get the product off your face, they use the sprayer that would be used for your hair on your face. Water got everywhere -- in my nose, ears, mouth, eyes. Then, they use Kleenex to dry your face. Then, they just use random oils on your face and they rub the oil ALL OVER your face. They even massage your eye sockets with the oil. My eyes were super red when I left.
The shoulder/neck massages were also subpar. This place is good for hair washing and scalp massages - but that's it. I would recommend anyone who visits to limit their experience to just the hair wash. If you want a massage, find a massage therapist. If you want a facial, find an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLetās start with the good. This was prob the best hair wash. The shampoo had a minty fresh scent and cooling effect on the scalp. I was able to relax and feel less tension on my shoulders and neck by the end. I did the royal massage.
Okay but letās talk the real deal. My masseuse was an older lady and she was rough and sloppy. There was a point where a gel face mask is placed and it was all over my hair, inside my nostril, inside my mouth and my lashes were stuck together. It seems like she wasnāt able to peel it off or take it off and spread even more or my hair. She definitely karate shopped my back but I guess it worked on releasing tension but damn she was rough.
The place itself is in a corner in an Asian plaza. Iām concerned about sanitation as I saw them fold the blankets we used and place them back on the chairs. They brushed my hair and Iām not sure if the hair brushes are de sanitized. Lastly they used a cool jade roller on my face and she rolled it on top of my lips and Iām not sure if theyāre sanitized.
I did come with my sister who actually really enjoyed her massage and...
