This place really sells spoiled food, only learnt it with my own experience. I should had read the comments before coming to this restaurant. I saw the ad on Facebook for buying any two “banh tet” or “banh chung”, get one free “dua mon”. Since I always want to try and motivate new restaurants, I ordered total of 2 banh tet and 2 banh chung from them a week before Lunar New Year to send them to my relatives. I came back to buy another pair of “banh tet” for another relative. I asked the cashier how long the cakes been there. He told me they had been there for a week. I was hesitated to buy but he told me the cakes should be good for a long time more. Trusting him, I bought another pair. My relatives kept the cakes in the refrigerator and only took them out the day before Lunar New Year. They cut and tried them on the third day of Lunar New Year and found out they were spoiled. Not only they were spoiled but banh chung were not fully cooked. I called the restaurant to complain and the first thing they ask if I have a receipt and that I’m the first to complain. There’s no apology and it made me feel like I made it up. I told them I don’t have the receipts anymore but I paid by card so I can show them the transaction. They then called me back a day later telling me if I can bring the cakes there, they will refund. Shoot, most of them were tossed away in the trash bin. I had to drive to my parents to retrieve 1 banh chung and 1 banh tet which were not tossed away yet. Got a refund for $35 for “banh chung” and $24 for “banh tet” minus $10 for “dua mon” which was a free item. Not to mention, I actually paid for $36 for “banh chung” while the price is $35. Yes, I was cheated. So stay away and don’t be fooled by their ad. You don’t want to send spoiled food as gifts, do you? Even though the restaurant says they give customers free drink for a 5-star review, I believe not many of the customers go against their morality for a...
Read moreFirstly, thank you for the food. It provided us with nutrition. I understand this is a new restaurant and it is hard to establish a rhythm. Still, it was disappointing. My mom was very excited to try this place and ordered to-go the bún bò huế, her favorite. She brought it home and there were no herbs, veggies, or sa tế. She was sad for me. She ordered my favorite, hủ tiếu, and there were also no limes, chilies, or other accompaniments. We still ate it all, but we were both disappointed for each other. Also it was too sweet. If this restaurant doesn't want to go under, just improve! This is my advice. We were disappointed and don't want to come back, but if you improve,...
Read moreWent here to get some food. The frozen section stated “buy 2 get 1 free”. So I bought 2 items at $11.99 and one item at $13.99. I wanted to buy a 4th item at $6.99 and at the counter, the manager told me he can only give the the free item for the $6.99 item that I added at the end. Honestly, what kind of shady sales tactic is that? They’re supposed to give me one of the $11.99 as the buy 2 get one free deal. I was shocked at that statement and returned all of their food back to...
