Maybe it’s nostalgic, but the price, speed of service, and quality is consistent and great. The Rare Steak Pho broth is not overly salty, it’s a perfectly balanced light-savory flavor, and the rare steak is cut thinly and cooks fast. I have never experienced my order to arrive later than 5 minutes from ordering, and it consistently arrives close to 3 minutes after ordering. Really kind people and even better service. They offered us free drinks after we hesitated about wanting any at all. I had the filet mignon and well done brisket pho. Upgrading rare steak to filet mignon was only $0.75 upcharge. I would’ve paid so much more if I had to. Most delicious restaurant pho I’ve ever had!!! My daughter's shrimp spring roll itself was good, but the peanut sauce was bland - tasted like it was from a bottle and it had zero peanuty taste (though a few peanut pieces were sprinkled on top).
My dish was similarly bland. The fish sauce was bland, the pork had no taste, and the egg rolls were meh. It was, however, nicely topped with fresh lettuce and cilantro.
