This is my FAVORITE place for bún mắm. It's not an easy dish to find even in Little Saigon, and it's even harder to find a place that makes them right. This place hits the spot for me. The soup is a perfect marriage of salty, fishy, and sweet. To say I'm obsessed is an understatement.
I stumbled upon this location while looking for a late night meal after our volleyball game. The place is unassuming and hidden in the corner of the plaza. They have a quaint little stage in the corner of the restaurant and they blast karaoke music during late hours. This vibe might not be for everyone, but I quite enjoy it. Something about the decor and loud music feels very nostalgic to me. The owner (Thao) is very sweet and the main table host (Ken?) is very charismatic. He calls me "gang leader" (đại ca) when I call in for takeout. Cracks me up everytime.
While I primarily come here for the bún mắm, the other menu items are just as delicious. My top favourites are the canh bún, bún thịt nướng, and bún riêu.
Everything about this place is just right. I've since recommended this place to a number of friends and relatives, all of whom agreed that it's the best bún mắm they've had in a very long time, so don't just take my word for it.

Read moreWasn't on Google map. I had to add the business because it s soooo good. Starting with the Hu Tieu/ rice noodle. Very flavorful. You get a fried shrimp besides regular shrimp. Special pork paste and shrimp meat. Lots of fried shallots. one of the best and tasty hu tieu I ve had. The Chicken Siu Siu. Mom tried it and she s very picky about chicken. First it s a chicken range. Juicing and flavorful. The sauce is delish per mom. The sauce is top notch done with fresh ginger but al dente. The congee is a must, all type of congee. The store closes at 2am. Our stomach was too small otherwise we ld order what the neighbor ordered: rice with half a duck. By the way it's the first restaurant that have the filet mignon cubes with red rice: "bo luc lac". Done the same way as it's done in Vietnamese restaurants in France. This place is a restaurant, so expect 10 to 15mns for the dish to be prepared. Tres tres bon.Muy...

This shop is ran by a sweet, married couple that has put their life and soul into their business and their food. They are traditional vietnamese elders that loves to see their customers smile! I'm sure it warms their hearts!
I came here with my mom and my uncle last week! We wanted something warm to eat because the skies were gray and gloomy. The food here definitely did the trick! We ordered chao along with a full ha nan chicken! It fed 3 hungry people and the flavors were perfectly complimenting one another! The subtle sweetness of chao would make the chicken filled with enriched flavors, add a bit of spice from the nuoc mam and you'll feel... homesick 🥺, almost teary eyed because you'll miss your momma and her mom cooked meal! That's what itll feel like! Dont let this wonderful mom and pop shop disappear because the taste is like a picture perfect Christmas meal...
