Not asking for great service when coming here, but ate here last night with my daughter and the service was AWFUL. I’ve noticed it changing over the years, will definitely not be coming back, makes me sad. We waited to be seated, server just pointed in a direction, then he corrected us by saying the table number. Waited for awhile before handed menus. Then we waited over 20 minutes to order. Was telling my daughter let’s go, there’s a spot we can go to up the street, and this girl who was not working the floor, asked if we were ready. She took our order I never saw her face she was standing behind me. Then she left out the door after taking our order. We were served by a very sweet cook coming from the back while the hip server fooled around with the drinks and the other server wrapped chopsticks and napkins together. I was not the only customer noticing this. I think they were mad at their boss and taking it out in us and leaving it to the one Mexican to do all the work, cook and serve. Went to the register to pay and the hip waiter was totally avoiding me! I waited over TEN minutes while he put ice in cups, literally! The phone rang forcing him to make eye contact with me! He put a finger up for me to wait, yeah dude been waiting. He took the phone order then reluctantly took my payment. I didn’t say anything and was respectful, but I have to put this out there. Pho Lu is going down the drain, the service has always been minimal, but always chill and quick. Yesterday evening was a long waiting mess and the worst customer service. Two starts for the good...
Read moreReason for visiting: late night bite to eat Date/time of visit: Saturday night, ~11:00 PM Parking: in the adjacent lot, shared with other businesses Party size: 3 Environment/ambience: busy, loud. Mixed crowd, age wise and races. No TVs. They started opening up the outside when it got more crowded. Other Pho restaurants around didn't look as busy as Pho Lu. People were inside with no masks but workers were wearing masks. Seating can be a little tight; it's one of those places that will split a large table into 2 and seat 2 different parties next to each other (with social distancing.. somewhat) Service: was fast. In and out in about 30 minutes. It's probably better that you know how to speak Vietnamese but they probably speak some English Food: had the Com Tam Bi Cha Suon Nuong (Charbroiled pork chop over broken rice, with pickled veggies and pork sides), which is always good after a night of drinking 🙃. Also had the Thai tea; they do not offer boba here Cost: ~$35...
Read moreWent to this place years ago. At that time it was 4/5 stars. I moved from Westminster and would still recommend this place. This time good was not good. The egg rolls were so so. I mean it's fried dough with filling. The pho was not flavorful & noodle portions have gotten smaller.. I guess it's par for the course. Quality goes down prices go up. I won't go back to this place nor will I give out any more recommendations. Very disappointed in the cleanliness of restaurant. Also was bopped in the head by a menu. No I wasn't hurt but there was no apology. Bathroom was surprisingly tidy! Also there was someone yelling in a back room which made me uncomfortable. The service was very basic. Had things in the menu that the waitress has never seen, which brings me to the condition of the menu old plastic lil separation of tge edges just huvr me the Willie's thinking about it. Overall experience for me was a...
