North Gatlinburg Park — Attraction in Gatlinburg

Neat little park right off the highway. It's well maintained and great for very young kids up to maybe 8-10yo. They have trout there on site in a holding area that may be manually released into the kids fishing area? Not quite sure. They were nice sized too.

There's a lot of seating, parking and public bathrooms. Very cool design that was planned out and executed thoughtfully.

The only tricky part is getting out as you can't turn left so you have to turn right out in the highway and then make a left turn into the businesses if you need to head back in the other direction on...

Park appears to be recently renovated.

Looks like there's going to be some large areas for sheltered picnic tables.

There are also multiple kids only (meaning 12 and under) fishing spots in some deeper areas which are clearly marked. Definitely important to know there is no fishing on Thursdays because those are the days they stock the stream with trout. There are also multiple charcoal grills along that waterfront.

I think it is a Beautiful park on the river. I saw a bald eagle fly around the river Just as i arrived at this park. There is also what looks to be a fish (trout?) hatchery or some sort of fish farm (i wonder if they may be released back to the wild). They also have a playground and Bathrooms.
