This is the BEST mini golf course I've ever been to in my entire life, we are a mini golf enthusiast family so that is saying something. I'll start off by saying that we have paid for more for mini golf in Gatlinburg and experienced mediocre courses. This course was insanely well priced. The workers are amazing, funny, and you can tell they care about what they do. The theming of the course is also amazing. Even when you have to wait for the people in front of you, there is plenty to look at. There are funny jokes and cool photo ops all along the way. If you bring your scorecard back you can get a discount on your next game and it's good for up to 3 days. The tram lift is the worst part of the course because you will probably have to wait in line to ride it, but the perk of the tram lift is it does help space out players and keep the actual game moving. So no real complaints, just factor in the wait time if you park in the lot beside the course that is $1/hr. It is also pretty cool to take a ride up the mountain and then place the course going down. The holes themselves are well maintained and a lot of fun. This is definitely not an easy course! If you have littles, be careful if they're runners. There are a lot of stairs and inclines here.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. First off, the staff is the best anywhere in the area. The first night we stopped here a storm was about to come in and the man behind the cash register, Randy, showed us the radar and told us it might be advisable to golf another time if we could. Safety was his number one concern. The next day when we came back, Randy recognized us and gave us a discount for our inconvenience the night before. The rest of the staff would walk the course regularly to assist with stuck golf balls or give you a new one if you hit it a little too hard. They were down to earth and lightheartedly would converse with us. Second, this course is the most relaxing and authentic experience you will get in the area. There are two courses to try and they'll stamp your scorecard at the end to give you a discount to come back and try the other course which I highly recommend. Both are equally challenging with bits of history about the area along the course, especially on the B-side. There is too much to add in one post, but hands down this is the best attraction to bring your family together in Gatlinburg. Go to Hillbilly Golf, you will not be disappointed. (And ask the staff where the incline originally came from.)

This place lives up to its legacy! It is well known among the locals and is a must visit if you are touring the area. The golf course is built into the hillside and includes a short cart ride up the hill and a golf game to come down (mostly). Holes are all in great condition, everything is clean, well maintained, with obvious care and nostalgia in mind. The setting is mostly tree covered and shady, includes an occasional bear sighting (tracked and posted by staff), and an abundance of knick-knacks, signs and other fun visuals. There are two courses to choose from, if you wish to do both within three days you can do the second course for less then $7 per person. This does not seem to be a wheelchair accessible facility, it has many stairs and angles to navigate. There is no restroom here, you will be directed to the city parking lot where there is a reasonable restroom available. I highly recommend this business, the price is right on par with this level of entertainment. I also recommend getting their early because it can get busy.

My wife was here 25 years ago, remembered how much fun she had, so we took our family on our first visit to Gatlinburg. We had an AWESOME time! First, the crew still running it take pride in their work. They are genuinely excited to have you there. The ladies taking money and giving instructions were the epitome of southern hospitality. As for the course, they have two separate 18 hole courses on the side of the mountain. You ride a lift up the mountain to start and choose which course you want to play. We had so much fun on the first 18 that we grabbed a snack and headed right back up to play the other side. Both sides have great layouts with unique holes. There is so much decoration around that you could play the courses 10 times and still find something new. I can’t stress enough how this is the best mini-golf course I have ever played. Enjoy yourselves!

What a unique course! So fun and unconventional holes. Whoever the minds were behind this venue certainly were creative and challenging. From the "car"ride up the mountain to the meandering steps back down the course, this is a mini golf like none other! We did not see a bear although the message board said there had been one the day before. The parking is not ideal. Only the left side is for golf traffic and the right side you must pay. This is a nuisance because it's hard to say how long you're going to be there based on the line of patrons. The line doesn't move fast. I wanted to be there when it opened at 9, but didn't get there til close to 9:30 and there was already a line. I'd highly suggest getting there upon opening! The line only grows and grows as the day goes on.
