One stars doesnt even do this place JUSTICE. There should be a rating for NO STARS. We have NEVER had such a bad experience. And we have stayed ag PLENTY of hilton hotels and Hampton Inn’s...We stayed from Thursday night (Mind you we didnt check in until 11:30 that night) until saturday. Walked into the room, there was moldy fruit loops tucked and hid behind the bed, Black Mold on the ceiling, Black Mold in the bathroom over the shower, just overall DIRTY. There was two jointed room doors in the room, and one the second night we stayed all hours during the night somebody kept beating on our door, then started trying to open the jointed door from the other side almost trying to break in our room while we were asleep in there. Mind you during the day that Friday, Room service did not come and clean our room like ALL hotels should. So when we leave on Saturday to come home the hotel charged us a $50 smoking fee, so I called the hotel and spoke with Amanda the “manager” and she was RUDE AND NASTY!!! She said she had pictures of the “ashes” that were left in the room, when I asked to see them she all of a sudden didnt have them but as soon as we called her out on how nasty the room was and all the BLACK MOLD that was in the room she didnt have nothing to say. Not to mention the lady they had sweeping whom looked like she was on drugs her self. As me and my husband are both business owners are self, we would NEVER be able to run a business like they do here. They are a bunch of CROOKS, and the NASTY RUDE manager Amanda needs to be FIRED for the way she spoke with us. We work HARD for our money and work hard so we can have a good vacation but when you spend your hard earned money at a place thats infested with Black Mold and the business will not stand behind it, it makes you wonder what this world is going too. We will NEVER stay here EVER AGAIN! This place almost makes us want to NEVER go back to Gatlinburg again because it was SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE! We learned our lesson here and HOPE this place goes out of business for how they treat their customers. We will consider this a $300 LOSS down the drain but a LESSON LEARNED! NEVER stay at this place, your better off staying under the bridge on the parkway than you are staying at this place. And thats JUST...
Read moreDecided to stay here for a spring break over college. We stayed 4 nights. When we first arrived at the hotel it was a room near the elevator so we asked to change to another room. Luckily the front desk clerk told us it was possible and moved our room to another we got to the second room and it was occupied (big whoops on their part) so my boyfriend and I walked back down to get another room and they changed us again apologized, but surprisingly didn't walk us up! I was shocked I work at a front desk and when this happens WE MUST CALL A MANAGER OR EITHER ESCORT THEM UP OURSEVES. We got into the third room and as soon as we walked in we didn't get any wifi I called down and they were gonna reset the routers. That didn't work either I called down and went to the desk 12 times over a 4 day period and still nothing was done about the wifi issue. I must say I called down to the night auditor and before I could even finish he had hung up on me twice, (probably because I called down previous nights) terrible customer service especially knowing how I treat guests when they ARE PAYING MONEY AT AN ESTABLISHMENT. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone they truly do not care about you at all. Pay the extra 10 a night and go to the baymont inn. Never been treated so badly by staff anywhere. Was always hesitant to stay at a days inn and now it won't even be an option by the way I was treated. Isn't the hospitality industry about customer satisfaction. This hote does not care if you return or not you will get treated very poorly. Not to mention the front desk attendant had a smoke break about 12 times during her shift (explains the wifi problem and why it never got fixed) TERRIBLE DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON A HOTEL WHO DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. However it was clean and the housekeeping and a guy in a flannel shirt was nice but...
Read moreThis motel is fabulous, great price point, exceptional location. The motel is an older place so it has some cosmetic issues, but it’s clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast is your basic fare, but fresh and the area is kept clean. The ONLY issue we had was with the front desk and the breakfast person. When I went in to check in “Angela” was on the phone, at no point did she look up to acknowledge I was even there. She was curt with whomever she was speaking to as well. When she hung up the phone, again without looking at me she simply said “name”. I gave her my name, she handed me a piece of paper, actually looked at me this time, and said fill this out and sign it. After that she said “we are the second floor, you’re on the 3rd floor and handed me the key cards with the room number on them. That’s it, no welcome, have a good day, nothing. The next night when we inquired about a map for the trolley, she simply put it on the counter. It seemed like a chore for her to tell me where we were located and to simply tell us to take the purple line to get back to the motel. Simply rude with no customer skills what so ever. As for the breakfast lady, when the coffee pot wasn’t working I told her that maybe the water was out. She proceeded to talk to me like I was an idiot and pointed out that the coffee was out, she actually pointed to the machine and made a point to tell me I was wrong. Who cares what the problem is, I just wanted some coffee. She then went and got a “box of liquid coffee”, who even knows that’s a thing(?), and proceeded to replace the one in there. The rest of the staff were great and pleasant. Our visit was wonderful and besides those 2 women, we would definitely stay here again....
