Georgetown Peddlers Mall — Attraction in Georgetown

Me and my husband shop at several peddlers malls. But for some reason the one in Georgetown. Ky is always rude always being rushed out the doors. They lack professionalism as sales reps. They are younger bunch. They talk behind peoples back. They roll there eyes and are lazy. Everytime Ive Asked them questions about some booths they act absolutely clueless. An quite frankly. They act like they dont even wanna be there.there friendly manner an behaviors about as comforting as frosty cold fish. Not sure if the people who have booths there no how very little these ladies care weather items are bought or not.As a veteran I try give people benefit of doubt when it comes to having a bad day. But every Sunday my husband an I try shop there its always same attitude. We will not be back in that mall. And we are very big antique collector's. Whatever happen to the days of service with smile. Guess there gone or so they are in Georgetown. Ky...

My husband and I go to a LOT of antique malls and flea markets. Sometimes I get bothered by vendors using the venue to sell other wares such as Avon (current products) and Longaberger baskets and pottery. I feel like it's a cheap shot and if I owned a store like that I wouldn't allow that sort of sales. Shabby chic (repurposed old stuff) is sort of ok - it is on the borderline and some places have too much. This mall (and I've been in other Peddler's Malls) has all of it. I didn't care for this one because it even had booths that are selling just plain old junk. They sold the whole spectrum. Junk (a lot of it), new, shabby chic, antiques (junk and nice). Not my cup of tea, so we didn't stay long. For my taste, I don't care for all that because it changes the feel of the experience. NOW, in their defense, it IS called peddler's mall. The lamp I purchased disintegrated before I got to my car. They would not refund me even though they saw whole thing.

Update: The owner/manager contacted me and said he was sorry. He said he would give me $25 gift card or store credit.

Today, I went back to the store and the ladies who worked there said they didn't know anything about it and they never give refunds or store credit. I showed them the message from owner andI also had his phone number. They called him and he told them to put $25 on a gift card for me and they asked me to update my review. I went to shop in the store to spend my gift cards. When I went to check out the gift card was only for $20 not $25. Those ladies at the register are rude and they are the ones who changed the amount.

So I am not changing my review. They need...
