Central Purrk Cat Cafe — Restaurant in Georgetown

So CUTE!!! And that was my impression even BEFORE I saw the cats! This place is adorable! SUPER clean, friendly, bright, fun and inviting atmosphere with great snacks and fun drinks! Then, you think about the purpose.....finding homes for these precious babies. If you don't get hooked you better check to see if you have a heartbeat.... How can a place be both exciting and relaxing at the same time? When I think back to our visit, I remember how excited I was to try a new coffee drink..wait...AND THEY HAVE WINE!!! WHAT???? IKR??? Move over Starbucks!!! Hold on...we haven't even seen the furbabies yet.... These kitties came from being held in a small cage to this amazing stage. What a fantastic way to see their personalities....and what personalities they have! We watched through the windows as visitors played and loved on the babies. It didn't take long to decide that we needed some hands-on with these little lovers. Before I knew it, I was on the floor relaxing with a new furry friend and smiling the entire time. There is nothing more relaxing than that. Notice I didn't say that we adopted? We just visited and had a wonderful time. We have been back multiple times, and will continue to support this...

The place itself is really nice and the cats look very well taken car of and its clean. The drinks we got were good and the lady helping us was nice. HOWEVER, they really need to figure out better time blocks for reservations. I reserved the room a week in advance thinking it would just be us, hence the reservation, and not even ten minutes into our reservation they let people with little kids in who started screaming and scaring the cats away. So we left very early. Highly recommend changing the time blocks to shorter times like 15-30 minutes instead. I brought my friend here for his birthday to hang out with the cats and we didnt really get to enjoy it for very long because they just let other people in even though I had reserved it. Fired an amazing employee that everyone liked because they brought back a cat after their significant other was allergic to it so they brought it back instead of taking it to the pound like a responsible person, definitely won’t be going back very unprofessional you would think they would be happy they brought the cat back instead of taking it somewhere else really shows that they don’t care about the employees or cats for that matter Then responded to me saying this isn’t true when I have text receipts to back up what I’m claiming really shows how much they don’t care about employees, the employee didn’t have another job lined up and you fired them without any notice on the sport no 30 day notice or even a 2 week notice very unprofessional and definitely won’t ever be going back and don’t expect many people to after firing an employee people have specifically praised in...
