When I first heard that Skyline Chili was opening a new location, I was filled with hope and excitement. As a resident of Scott County, I eagerly anticipate new dining options in our area. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into disappointment upon realizing that this new establishment is a far cry from the one that previously failed.
Despite a promising grand opening that boasted quality service and delicious food, it took only a few months for the experience to deteriorate significantly. On two separate visits, I found a hair and a fingernail in my chili—an alarming and unacceptable discovery. When I brought these issues to the management’s attention, their dismissive and uninterested response suggested a troubling disregard for proper food safety standards.
My concerns were not isolated incidents. Many other locals have shared similar negative experiences, indicating a broader issue with the restaurant's quality and service. An insider revealed that the management at this location is underqualified, unprofessional, and mistreats their younger staff members. This is particularly disheartening, as many of these young employees were excited about their first job opportunity.
Overall, my experience at Skyline Chili was deeply disappointing on every level. This location requires serious intervention and evaluation to address these significant issues before it faces closure once...
Read moreThis was probably one of my worst experiences dining in ever. It started off good the place was clean not to busy it was not to noisey. But then we ordered just a simple large 3way and 2 cheese coneys and fries. It literally took 20 minutes to get and my guess is it sat back there the whole time. My wife's 3way was cool and my coney buns were soggy. Our server Cayden was to busy talking to his friends and even went out of his way to tell his friends that he would ring them out so he could accidentally not charge them for everything. But when I said something about my food needing replaced he acted like it was alot of work. But as he was standing there talking to us he was picking pimples on the right side of his neck, literally squeezing them. Once we seen that I simply paid $32.00 dollars and we left i didn't even take the pumpkin cheesecake with us. Just now able days these kids have no morals like it's ok to do while you serve food. I highly suggest staying away from this place he was way to...
Read moreMy friend and I had lunch here recently and both ordered our 5 way "juicy" or "sloppy". Both are common and well known terms in Cincinnati chili restaurants indicating that you want your plate to have less spaghetti than a normal order but heavier on the chili. The five ways came with what we both agreed was disappointing because it was the usual amount of chili instead of how we requested. Regardless it was tasty and we enjoyed our time there until the bill came. The manager had the server charge us both for an additional $3 for a cup of chili. We told her we didn't receive an additional cup of chili and that it we simply ordered heavy chili, less spaghetti. The female manager lied and said she'd been there for ten years and that's how they always do it. (That store has only been opened 3 years!) Anyway, the server should have told us...
