This is a nice park; close to where I live, and with plenty of amenities without being too overwhelming. There are two separate playscapes for younger and older children, swings, a splash pad (only operational in the summer), basketball court, bathrooms, water fountains, and a small covered pavilion. It is lively but never feels too crowded. The park is also on the route for the new Go Geo bus system. My only complaint would be the heavy presence of fire ants; I'd like to let my toddler roam free, but feel nervous about potential bites. I guess that is part and parcel of...
