The "UNITED LUTHERAN SEMINARY" is a large building FULL of HISTORY & NOSTALGIA. It sits on a BEAUTIFUL Landscape amid trees, acres of grass & well mannered homes that have stood since the Mid 1830's thru today. The SEMINARY is used for Church Services, Organ Recitals & other Musical Venues. The "UNITED LUTHERAN SEMINARY" was also the site as a MEDICAL FIELD HOSPITAL during the EARLY stages of the CIVIL WAR. The BATTLE at SEMINARY RIDGE was a BLOODY CARNAGE between the NORTH & the SOUTH, Where MANY BRAVE Soldiers laid Their lives on the line for the right to be FREE. The SEMINARY stands today as a SCHOOL for future LEADERS of the LUTHERAN CHURCH & as a REMINDER that MANY fought for the RIGHT TO BE FREE.
