I can recommend this park as a good rendezvous place if you're meeting up with some people especially during a weekend festival. You will notice how incredibly busy this row of Marinas are... except when you get to this part it's not as busy and it was easy to find parking and to walk out to the water where you will find picnic tables and a totem pole. Entrance to that path is just beyond the restrooms where there are some helpful large maps fixed on the side of the building. This would also be a good spot for frisbee.
