My daughter and I just left the Thai Hut. The place smelled strange. Moldy like when my grandma's house was flooded with water. We ordered fried rice, pad Thai and pot stickers. The pot stickers were very dry. The fried rice had a horrible consistency and flavor. My daughter also did not like her pad Thai. We explained to the waitress that we didn't like the food. We had eaten 2 to 3 bites. We were informed by out or waitress that she could only take one meal off because she has eaten it before and it was just fine. She said that it was a family owned business so we have to pay for one and take it home and give it to someone else. We were okay with paying for our drinks and the pot stickers but not the food. My daughter asked to speak to the manager. He came out and reluctantly agreed to us not paying for the unwanted food. Bad experience. We went to the yummy Gourmet Burger shop next door. The waitress was rude about this and she told us that the manager wouldn't be nice to us about it. ???? What kind of restaurant tries to force you to buy unwanted food that you haven't eaten. Come on...

I don’t regularly leave Google reviews (or use naughty language) but everyone needs to know: This place is forking amazing. My better half and I split an order of fried spring rolls, crab cream cheese wontons and pad Thai (2 star spicy-ness). The spring rolls? Crunchy, flaky, delicious. The wontons? Incredible. Perfect mix of cream cheese and crab. But the pad Thai....Holy shirt. Heavenly. Out of this world. NAILED IT. Perfect combination of a little sweet and mostly spicy. We took the left overs home, but they didn’t make it. I ended up scarfing them down at a long red light while my wife drove me home to my food coma. She carried me to our bedroom and tucked me in while I quietly drifted off to a very delightful dream of myself, eating at Thai Hut again. I know we only ordered 2/4 spicy-ness, but we received 5/5 service and dining!...

This was our second time here. On our first visit (2 weeks ago), we were told that they can only take to go orders as they're short staffed. The same story was told earlier when we visited. So we just ordered our food as to go.

As for their food, the Pad Thai is very flavorful but I find it too oily. And their pineapple fried rice lacks flavor. It tasted like stir fried rice with no flavor and the pineapples were just added at the end. I've been to Thailand and it's different to what they serve - the pineapply fried rice is rich in flavor and they even add raisins and curry powder.

I hope they can resolve their staffing issues and improve the taste of their food because I love Thai food so much.

P.S. We also ordered Tom Kha Gai, my favorite, and we'll try...

I lived in Los Angeles for four years and never found Thai food better than this. The waiting staff is quick to answer questions about dishes. A variety of Thai dishes, ranging from common to unique, can be ordered on a spiciness scale. Be warned, a four is not for the faint of heart! My family's favorites include the kee mao noodles, the fresh spring rolls, Tom Kha soup and various rice curries. The restaurant building is a converted historic home, with indoor seating in the front rooms and some outdoor patio seating. Two limitations of Thai Hut are that they are not very flexible about customizing orders, and that there is not space for large groups to dine together. If you have a large group, I would recommend calling in and ordering the food to go.

This used to be one of our favorite places. I’m not sure if ownership has changed or if they just stopped caring. The cleanliness of the place is not what it used to be. As soon as I walked in, I could see trash on the floor where the kitchen is divided from the dining area which seems to have been there for some time. As far as the food, normally when you order a dish containing fried shrimp they shell is removed. The shrimp in my order all had most of the shell still on, and there were a few where the front of the shrimp was cut off leaving just the tail end completely shelled. Sadly, I don’t think we will be returning here again.

We got 2 entrées for dinner. The regular pad thai was very bland. They didnt ask for spice level. They didnt even put a lime slice in with the food. The second meal was the garlic delight. It was not delightful at all. The vegetables and garlic taste like they were boiled/steamed in one of those microwave bags. The meat was so over cooked i wouldnt give it to a dog. To top it all off its sitting in about an inch of liquid. They could serve it as cabbage soup with "beef" it was so watery.
