Iāve been going here since December 10th of 2020 , I would not recommend this location or this school to anyone that is seriously professional about working in the medical field and cares about quality education. I feel like I just wasted so much money and time Just to be bullied by who I thought were medical PROFESSIONALS. From instructors calling student names such as āretardedā and TEACHING OUTDATED EDUCATION? This school is a complete scam that preys upon those who are looking for an accelerated education. If this school taught me ANYTHING it taught me to DOCUMENT EVERYTHING because these people and this SCHOOL does not respect students as individuals and the way they treat their students is sub par. This school keeps blaming covid and whatever other reason (DON) for their lack of communication and administrative issues and itās completely ridiculous. Youāre better off finding online resources or going to community college for less. I could have graduated a week ago but because THEY are so UNPREPARED to help!.. but ready to receive funding for what..? A SCAM! Things to expect at this school : Instructors making you feel incompetent, instructors telling you youāre incompetent, wasting time talking about personal matters instead of what you invested your money into, instructors gossiping during class I spent my whole administrative block with Carver, the only thing I learned? That her chihuahua is her precious baby, she loves The Office, and her son has digestive issues. whenever you ask questions or try to actually talk about the content, she makes you feel like youāre stupid by using a condescending tone. Sheās not the only instructor let alone STAFF who does this by the way, she was just the first one. Iām not the only PAYING STUDENT they do this to. Michelle wouldnāt let me use a school phone after MY FIRST DAY AT orientation to call a ride, so I walked across the street to savers and THEY let me use their phone as I was crying because of how weird she made me feel like I was being rude or crazy by asking MY SCHOOL FOR A RESOURCE - to use their phone? That should have been the blaring red flag š© to not waste my time here! The whole time I had Lupe as an instructor she made comments about my weight when we were doing UAās she was looking at mine and said āAUNALI, DO YOU STARVE YOURSELF?ā Out loud in front of the WHOLE class They STILL TEACH that Intellectual disabilities like Autism are considered āretardationā when theyāre a already BEEN ESTABLISHED NEW INFORMATION, I found this incredibly offensive as being the sibling of a nonverbal autistic person. The only good thing I can say about this school is that their financial advisors are excellent ! Mason Reis and JoAnne Thomspson were the only people who helped me the entire way and actually care about their careers. I am so thankful that I had the chance to experience this complete and utter failure so I donāt do it again in the future and not have to worry about when someone will get back to me so I...

The financial aid department is made up of the most under qualified himan beings they could have scraped out of the bottom of the barrel. From the beginning my gut told me they were idiots, but having never dealt with financial aid before i trusted them. Ahmed, besides being more difficult to contact than the president of the united states, never knew what was going on. First i didnt qualify, then i did. Then i was supposed to be able to have extra financial aid in 2 payments of $1500. I got one check, then when i went to collect the second one from the front desk Ahmed told me he had to take my second one back. So, i didnt end up getting the second one. Come the end of the program i went in for the exit interview where it stated that the school actually owed ME $1500 but Erika ran down stairs and grabbed a new document saying they actually didnt owe me and i didnt owe them. I got my certificate and nearly a year later i get a letter from a lawyer saying i am being sued because i owe pima $5130. So i call for 2 weeks straight trying to get in contact with ahmed. I tell him i am only available after 1pm, he calls me back around 10am. About 3 days after trying to get him again (after 2 weeks of trying) i ask to speak to erika who sends me to ahmeds voicemail because she is too incompetant to answer my questions. So i finally get ahmed some days later and i explain to him that there is no way i owe that much money. He explains its a fee that was added on after the fact. I tell him how i wouldnt have gotten my certificate if i signed saying i still owed money (you cant graduate if you owe money) and so they show their lawyer where i signed saying i do owe it. My biggest mistake is that i didnt ask for copies of the papers i signed. They tampered with my signed document because they didnt do their job correctly and get all the fees tallied up.
Dont go to pima unless you want to get sued over fees that they make up after you graduate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe instructor for the PCT program lacked experience. She wasnāt at all knowledgeable on the EKGS, the Phlebotomy, or the ER skills. She was a dialysis tech who knew much about dialysis..there was no time in the other skills though. My CNA teacher always made time for her class and was an actual RN who knew her skills and didnāt just read from the slides and show us videos..when it came to the ER skills everything was crammed we had no time to do all the skills to feel confident. I wanted to do my clinical at a dialysis facility just because I felt more confident but again, they forced me to do ER just so Iād graduate on time..when it came to getting extra help it always had to be on her time and even though Iād travel back & forth an hour to school, Iād still have to be on her schedule..she never made time to make us leave confident. The amount of money that was wasted in this program is unreal and not worth it. I wish someone wouldāve told me. One time we were suppose to have a ālast minuteā field trip to a dialysis clinic and she didnāt write the address on the board but instead the facility name and we all went to the wrong location and she left her phone at school so for someone who is not familiar with Mesa because I grew up in Peoria, I was completely lost and she got mad and almost cancelled on us after it took us over an hour to find the place. Told us we made her look bad..she all go mad at us fo not taking the time to practice the sKills but she would take the whole class to tell personal stories. š oh yea and they didnāt help me find a job either like they promised..then when I call to get a copy of my transcripts no one called me back or helped me get that without me having to travel an hour to get them. This school is a mess and I wasted so much money. Please get a better PCT...
