You may not think that being in Glen Arbor can get any better, that is until you stay at LeBear. We were SO happy with the incredible condo for the week; well worth the splurge. It was like a home away from home, except better....stainless high-end kitchen, warm wood floors and beautiful lighting throughout, walk-in steam shower...I could go on and on. A HUGE thanks to Peggy, who was so gracious and inviting. She truly made us feel like we were at home at LeBear for the week.||||The views of Sleeping Bear Bay and the Manitou Islands are simply amazing and the water is gorgeous. LeBear is perched right on the beach, so you have easy access to a private pool and a private sandy beach. AAHHH I was in heaven, I'll have to apologize for my gushing, it was just the most beautiful and perfect vacation that I've ever had.||||So, if you are even thinking about staying here, DO IT. Nowhere else in the Leelanau Peninsula will compare. Oh and be sure to have dinner at Blu, which is located on the first floor overlooking the lake. ...

The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub, a steam shower and heated floors. The room has great views and comes with a gas Webber grill. The pool is heated, a plus in Michigan. The paddle boards and kayak were entertaining. They provided us with s’mores and every night you could sit outside by a gas fire pit or have a fire on the beach and make s’mores. They also provide you with wood if you want to use the wood burning fireplace or just turn on the gas fireplace. It is just a short walk to town. The sand dunes are very close. They were a little strict about the kids making noise at night or early in the morning. We were told our kids were making too much noise in the morning but it was the family next door since our kids were still asleep. The beach is very rocky so kids might want to bring beach shoes if they are going in and out of the...
