Village Green Park — Attraction in Glen Ellyn

If I could give this park a 10 star I would. My husband and I along with my brother and his wife took our children to this park for a Sunday night fun time with the kiddos. The park was very clean, no near by garbage insight. The bathrooms of the park were not so bad but would advise cleaning and more sanitizing. My children enjoyed the splash pad and even made new friends. I absolutely love the community and the people that lives around. Great park! I’ve taken my 4yo son here many times. There is often other kids here to play with but never seems crowded. The playground equipment is great. When things break they make sure it’s safe until fixed, which happens quickly. There is a lot of seating for the parents, including 6 covered tables and a couple/few other benches. There IS a little splashpad, but it’s really not going to hold the attention of kids older than 2 or 3. It’s more just to help cool them off. Bathrooms are convenient. Fun park to the west of COD with several well maintained ball fields and a playground/multiple slide installation based on a NASA rocket theme. Ample parking along with open space and a community garden make this venue a welcome place of recreation and relaxation for those of various interests, and the refreshment stand staffed by friendly and helpful individuals only serve as frosting on the cake.
