ALDI — Attraction in Glendale Heights

The customer service cashier told me to put my phone down or she will take the person behind me.. first i was the not the first in line there was someone else she was serving before me and secondly as i told her where does it say at their store phones are not allowed in line. She said its company policy. She misbehaved with me, was extremely rude and when i said if i want i can leave because you are talking like that she said leave if you want i will still get paid. I left and went to the manager who told me he will talk to her( haha) no care in the world that a customer is leaving because of bad customer service. I called the head quarters who told me there is no such policy.I was humiliated becauses she felt she could.I am just relieved my kids were not with me.. because they would have felt marginalized and bullied because thats what she did. I am amazed at the manager who just stood there when i went to him and told me he will talk to her and that she and him are the only ones working and not caring i left without buying anything.. Really...

Wont be shopping at the location anymore. Devontae is really rude. I already am anxious shopping but Saturday I was already having a bad day and he made it worse by humiliating me in front of others. He opens his register to get the line down. He asked us to step down mind you I only had three items so the lady let me go through. He said in a rude way as if I couldn’t understand what he was saying “ You need to go all the way in the back I’m taking them I do not take those who cut” I looked at him shocked as I did something super horrible but I didn’t. The lady behind me said it was okay that I had only three items and she had a cart. He snatched the items in my arms and said I’m taking them go to the back. I asked him for his name and spoke to the manager on duty which was super nice and understanding but I can’t even imagine how he would treat others who actually don’t speak English well enough to understand. This store has been renovated. Plenty of space between aisles. Lots of produce and canned goods and liquor and refrigerated items. Personnel has a snarky, but I'm doing my job and so I am friendly and efficient attitude. Lot parking in front of the store. May be full, may have plenty of spaces. Time maybe a factor for spaces. Also may be hard to leave the parking lot because lots of traffic in both directions if you are trying to turn left into traffic, east/west traffic has three lanes with traffic traveling at a minimum of 45mph. I did not find original almond milk, only the unsweetened one. I have a choice of four Aldi's on my way home from work. I will probably not be...
