I donāt recommend this Metro PCS! Get a thorough break down of your bill because they are shiesty and are going to try to hit your pockets! I came for the deal they had on the IPhone Se for 79.99 and was told they donāt have it available and I would have to go near Chicagoland. Now, I have the IPhone SE (I purchased it from them literally minutes after he told me they didnāt have it), and the deal I was told I was getting is the phone free if I get the $60 plan, and pay activation and taxes. My total came out high, I asked for a break down and he made it all add up (I purchased a screen protector and case too, at a deal I was being told, so I just went with it) Upon getting home and settling down and looking at the final bill, I saw that I was charged for a protection bundle I never even opted in for or was asked about. Metro corporate was able to reimburse me for that when I called them but just that alone combined with my experience at the store make me question the store integrity period and wonder what else I was wrongfully charged for. I donāt know if this a racial or a location thing but what I can tell you is that I have done business with several different metro pcs before in Chicago and I have never felt wrongfully charged or even got the feeling I was being given bad information. I am going to try to escalate this to the highest power just because I do not want anyone else going through this and I want to hold everyone accountable . So, around Thanksgiving 2024 my screen broke on my phone and started glitching the phone out. It was so bad I could barely even unlock the phone. So I walk into the Glendale Heights Tmobile location on Cyber Monday, thinking I can get a deal on a replacement. The gentlemen in the store seemed to have been sleeping in the back when I walked in. If that was the only issue, I wouldn't have left a review. Basically, instead of even looking up my account, he jumped straight into trying to sell me on changing my phone number and buying a new 300-800 dollar phone. He told me if I wanted a new phone w my same number, the minimum would be $500. If he had looked up my account he would've seen I have full insurance on all 8 devices. Whole family is getting AT&T phones and tablets for Xmas now.
