Hidden gem in Glendale: Casa Adobe de San Rafael Park This beautiful park is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a peaceful escape, it offers plenty of shade thanks to mature trees, making it a favorite spot for moms with young children. While the museum itself is only open on the first Saturday of the month, you can still get a glimpse of the historic adobe house by peeking through the windows. The park itself is charming, with a well-maintained picnic area and restrooms. Just a few things to keep in mind: • Leash laws are enforced, so no dogs are allowed. • Commercial photography requires a permit, but snapping personal photos for memories is perfectly fine. Overall, Casa Adobe de San Rafael Park is a lovely spot for a relaxing afternoon. Highly recommend!

Went there for a birthday party. It's a nice park, hidden away, seems to be private, plenty of parking and picnic tables, trees and open green space. Bathrooms were clean.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that in order to take pictures of the property ( specially if you are a turist that always wants to have record of you been). You are not allow... Is very strict and there are signs all over the park including at the front entrance were it wants you to have a photo permit In order to take pictures with your family.... I this case Keep it close and charge for the entrance that way photos can be taken like most missions. I don't like when cities make their own rules..... This why I dont recommend the drive specialy if you are turist don't waste your time... No...

A beautifully landscaped small park that is perfect for picnics and quiet reflection (and has plenty of parking). Hard to see inside the park from the street, given the large wall on the street side, but its there! The historic Casa Adobe de San Rafael is located on site, but it isn't open...
