Pacific Food Mart — Local services in Glendale

Needed a quick bite or snack for the morning as I was hungry and walking back home. I walk around just past the deli and turn around as most of the merchandise beyond the ramp is produce. I make way for this man to pass by me but he waits for me to pass. As I walk down the ramp I'm asked if I need help finding anything and I inform him I'm just looking for snacks. I was a little caught off guard as he looked like he was dressed for a morning walk in the park and had no idea he was an employee, management or the guard that is usually there. I walk and grab a bar of chocolate and then walk into the drink aisle and turn to see he had followed me and peeked into the aisle I had gone into.

I was dressed decently and didn't go in into the store like I had just gotten out of bed in joggers. I had a bag with me but how is it different from a reusable grocery bag or a purse. The only reason I can think that I was followed was because I was being racially profiled. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt however the reviews are true. Even a friend of mine had told me of their rude service. Will not being going here again. Never have I been racially profiled or given rude service at the other local markets around my block.

Only good thing about my visit was the young friendly cashier.

I have been looking for a great market in the area that is clean, has fresh products, and feels like a good place to give your money too. I stopped by this store on my way to another supermarket that google maps was directing me too. I guess I could say the exterior caught my attention. I’m not sure why the ratings on this store aren’t as high as they should be. I bought the best produce I had in the past several years. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and tasteful. Also they have all kinds of bread and baked goods, I tried the baguettes that was delicious and very fresh. I highly recommend stopping by at this store to get your produce. Also, their employees are so kind, a young lady helped me find exactly what I was looking for which made shopping there so much better. You wanna make sure you’re giving your business to good people and I think if the employees are well mannered it comes from how the business is...
