🍖 Meat and Sweet Foods in Gloucester has me speechless (good thing I can still type 🙃 ) and overly impressed, every expectation exceeded 🥧

🚗 So easy to get to, and the second you drive up you are greeted with the most delicious smokey scent. It has me in such a trance that I walked out with a rack or ribs, brisket, cheddar cornbread, WOW cookies, carrot cupcakes a lemon blueberry and a mixed berry pie...

🍖🔥 These ribs, these ribs, these ribs. They are like a mix between smoked ribs and jerky (in my opinion) which are two of my favorite foods so combined WOWSERS. The meat falls right off the bone and the flavor is just off the hook amazing. I will never get ribs elsewhere again. (they just put Rum Boogies in Memphis down to #2) ..

The brisket is so tender and juicy, it is like butter eating it alone. With the BBQ sauce it's just tangy, a dot sweet and perfectly delicious bite. The 'chopped' was huge pieces with both fat and lean meat, I'm a double brisket girl, so the was my jam.

🥕🧁 Checkout the carrot cake cupcakes with beautiful wafer flowers. So pretty I had to get 2. I deserve it 🫅 and yup, you guessed it, same with the pies 🤣 I'll get back to you on my review of the desserts as the mixed berry is heating...

Meat and Sweet Foods truly blew us all away with how creative and delicious all of the food was, between cat and owl-shaped grilled cheese sandwiches to skull-shaped mozzarella cheese, they went above and beyond to fit our spooky-themed Celebration of Marriage all the while being fantastic to work with as they were so friendly and communicative. People are still talking about how wonderful they were and how amazing their food was a month later! I'd recommend them to anyone...

Amazing pulled pork, cornbread and zucchini chocolate cake!

My wife and I were walking around Gloucester killing time before a whale watching cruise and stumbled upon Doug and Lauri selling mouthwatering ribs, pulled pork and brisket.

Admittedly, I was dubious about the zucchini chocolate cake because I've never had it before but after a 20 second blitz in the microwave (the best way to eat it), I regretted not buying a second batch.

100% on my list of good eats...
