I used honors points to book a room, to use their business center. As I am dissolving a 30 yr. California Non Profit to retire in Florida. My intention was to return to Florida after my wallet was stolen by a family member. But I was hit by a car the morning of my departure. In need of a computer with a printer I decided to use points. My booking was canceled when I arrived and the hotel was booked. Hilton rebooted the room for the following day. When I arrived I learned the business center had no internet. Exhausted having had no sleep. Working from my cell phone and laptop. I went to book from a 3rd party only to find the prepaid card I've been forced to use had a zero balance. When I left to get cash to reload the card. I contacted the card company, that told me the hilton had charged the card 3 times. Twice for $78.00 once for $50 for incidentals. The manager said I would have to pay an additional $60 deposit to continue to stay. Not wanting to give them my last, I first asked if they would please hold cash, no. When I said I'd rather have the original deposit reversed and leave. I was informed I would be charged $128 for late check out. Which is reflected on the receipt. When I returned to collect my belongings. I was given 15 minutes. While I was on the phone with Hilton Honors. The Sherriff arrived to escort me from the room. The young lady "in charge" refused to give me her name in full.

Hotel with Mold with water leak and dirty😱 July 2024 On July 17, I booked this hotel for two nights because it was my 25th anniversary. The picture location looks amazing but it was a nightmare for myself and my family because nothing is like shown in the pictures. The room was dirty water leaking with the mold, I was stranded with my family outside from 6 PM till 3 AM because there is no one there to fix the leak in room and I was not even able to get into different hotel due to the fact everyone was sold out. I would suggest to every single person reading this please please do not stay in this hotel. If you don’t believe my words please look at the picture I shares the manager seems to be very nice person when we are stranded, but after that completely flipped promises a Hilton on a point as well I promise the future stay which never happened. I was so copper and waiting for them to situate my inconvenience situation but up to today no one even there to get back to me. After this review, my next step is gonna be calling a health department and Better Business Bureau to make sure no one run into situation which I went through specially on my 25th anniversary.

Our room was moldy! The bathroom vent fan was not working, so instinctively, I looked up as I thought wow this is going to get mold growing in here. Sure enough, after having slept in it overnight, there was mold in the bathroom. I was not happy! When I went to complain to the interim manager, he comped my room, which was appreciated. But my concern was the next people unknowingly sleeping in there. Mold is toxic and should not be taken lightly. My asthmatic family was already exposed, but if someone had a major auto immune issue and slept in there, it could land them in the hospital. He said he would let the other manager know. I did see a notice that it was under change of ownership. So I gathered it was probably out of his hands. I figured I'd just call corporate later on. What was very concerning was when I was leaving and turned back around and said oh do you want my pics to send? He said no, we already have some. What!?! So they knew? And knowingly put me in that moldy room for over three bennys a night. Not cool! The liability in doing that just blows my mind! I will be calling corporate when I can to share this with them.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in an impromptu trip. The rooms is nice although I think we we had queen bedding in a king because nothing fit correctly. I can live with that it’s more than enough bed for two people. However, the hot tub bleached my swimsuit and left a rash on my skin. My skin has smelled like chlorine for two days after being in that hot tubs and I hike, sweat and shower. When I sweat my skin burns a little. Like what the hell do you put in there? I appreciate that you are trying to keeping clean but that’s a little absurd. I had a blue swimsuit and now it’s basically pink. It was $120 swimsuit so I am a bit pissed about that. I talked to the hotel staff and they took photos and said they would send it to the manager, but no follow up. They gave us a number to call headquarters. Who then said it’s the hotel manager should take care of it. Who never called us. My swimsuit got even pinker the next day but I took this photo in the bathroom of the hotel room.

I hope Hampton could do more customer service training for this location. I checked in on June 2 in the evening around 9:20pm and that was the only one front desk staff worked professionally as friendly and helpful. The breakfast team was also good. But breakfast was not so good. I liked the hotel offered the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby anytime. The front desk staff on June 5 was rude and unfriendly when I checked out to request a paper receipt. I stayed 3 nights and it was noisy in the room. You can hear the sounds from the upstairs and children’s laughs from the hallway. The sofa in the room had the stain and the slide door of the shower room cannot be closed completely. The Sunday price was over 300 bucks. It is not worth of it. I lived in Hampton Inn in Union City, CA right after this stay, and the one was totally different experience from Santa Barbara.

I stayed three nights at Hampton Inn Santa Barbara/Goleta in a double queen room in late February 2025. I was able to arrange an early check-in. During my stay, the offerings at this location were consistent with the Hampton by Hilton brand. My room was clean but showed signs of being well used. It's a short ride from the airport. It's not too far from Amtrak Goleta and UCSB. Many restaurants are a few steps away from the hotel.
