Planet Fitness — Attraction in Grand Island

I've been trying to call the planet fitness in Grand Island for 2 days with no answer, last night for 3 hours over the course of 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 lady night, and this morning at 10:45. I called the Lincoln office to see if they knew for sure that the phone number for the Grand Island facility was correct, and they couldn't help me. Called this morning at 10 minutes to 11 didn't get an answer. I waited a few minutes and called back, and got a girl by the name of Jasmine. I asked her if they had staff overnight and she said yes, and when I explained to her that nobody answered the phone for 3 hours, She explained the overnight person sometimes forgets to take the phone with them when they're cleaning the gym. I told her that was not good customer service, or a good impression if somebody was intrested in asking or staff members a question since it states of they are open 24 hours a day. She rudely asked me "are you interested in joining or not, and I dont appreciate you talking about my staff badly". I said I wasn't talking badly about your staff I was telling you that it wasn't good customer service for somebody not to answer the phone for 3 hours. When I tried to explain to her that I wanted to join, you could tell she was also engaged in another conversation. When I asked for the owners name, she says they live in Wisconsin. I give Jasmine a 1 star for her lack of customer service and "nonchalant attitude" about fixing the problem of answering the phone. I decided to go workout today like usual & the employee at the front desk named Becky approached me and this other female. The employee said that she received 4 complaints about us and accused us of talking, taking too long, and being on the phone. We explained to her our side of the story. There was a guy who raised his voice and cussed at the female directly.I had nothing to do with this situation. He didn't talk to me nor did the people around me. I did notice how he was all friendly with the employee and you could easily know they were friends from the start! He got his wife to complain about us too. Me and this female were just starting our workouts and we didn't say anything or do anything, other than working out and listening to music!! The employee didn't even talk to him about his wrongs or anything and were the only one getting blamed. Nicest gym/fitness center in the tri-cities! Great spot to workout with no judgement or criticism. Take it from me, I'm older and overweight and I have felt uncomfortable at several other gyms in town. Planet Fitness has a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Clean, clean! Lots of space, never a wait for machines because they have so many...Tons of cardio... Life Fitness treadmills, Cybex elliptical machines, and stairclimbers. The newest and nicest bikes and recumbent bikes in town. Plenty of free weights, racks and complete Cybex full muscle group isolation work stations.
