Made reservations two days in advance when we got there they told us it would be a 10 min wait for a table we waited over a half hour to get a table there were 3 open tables we could see that hadn't been cleared they had staff just standing around like they didn't know what they were supposed to be doing nobody thought to start clearing tables and start seating guests then while we waited we watched another party that made reservations for 9 be asked if they minded being placed in 2 separate booths first of all 9 people dont fit in 2 booths and 2nd when you make reservations for a big party usually they seat them together the party agreed because they were tired of standing once they had drinks a big table opened up and the staff asked if they wanted to switch tables then they were carrying drinks across the restaurant getting in other customers way very unprofessional I would say lack of training lack of management once we finally got seated it took over 5 minutes to get a menu and at least another 5 minutes to get drinks then when we needed to refills we had to go look for waitress because she never came to check on the table she stopped at the table nearest the door to the kitchen checked on them several times but never took 2 extra steps to check on our table food came out fairly quickly they wouldn't mix our appetizers like we asked service was fair at best none of the server's were overly friendly they were experiencing a slight rush as they do on this weekend every year as there are several things going on in town and the restaurant's are very busy but with proper training and management they could have kept up just fine somebody needs to be in charge when it gets busy its all hands on deck if one group of guests leaves clear the table wipe it down and get the next guest seated so you dont have people waiting half an hr to get seated while there are empty tables because they leave lost revenue seems like grand island red lobster could use some restaurant efficiency and hospitality training the cleanliness of the restaurant was fair at best there were 2 waitresses doing an exceptional job trying to step up very friendly to their guest trying to hustle the rest of the staff was very lacking these 2 young ladies should be promoted to management as they were doing a better job running things than the manager was the food was mediocre at best definitely not worth the 120$ we spent on it probably be a very long time before we return and definitely wont recommend to any of our friends we were in town for our anniversary and were looking for a far better performance from the grand island red lobster than we received overall very disappointed 2 thumbs down gi red lobster 2...
Read moreThe food is good and Tammy our server was awesome. The hostess and management are another story all together. First we were put on the waiting list for a table for two. When my daughter in law said they were coming I had their names added as well. I made sure they knew I needed two tables for two, not one for four. Yeah yeah they got it. Our hour wait lasted over an hour and a half and they put all four of us in the same booth. Now they saw that baby in my daughter in laws arms, but had to move us when we asked for a highchair because it was a fire hazzard to have one at that table. Our new table was right in side the dinning room and there were people at least ten of them hovering around waiting to be seated. The enterance was completely packed, as was the area in front of the hostess stand. That was the real fire hazard. I understand it is Valentine's day, but when you call someone's name and they do not answer, you move to the next name on the list. There was no reason for holding tables for people who were not even there. Before we left I stood up to hold my 2 month old grandson and the manager walked into me and never batted an eye or bothered to say a word. We will not return to...
Read moreFirst off, our server spilled a beer on herself. No problem, brought another, only ten minutes later. Then served us our salads with no silverware. Had to request silverware twice before we were able to start eating. And our waitress didn't even bring it to us. I'm not sure who brought it, I believe it was a manager because this person was wearing an earpiece. Even though we ordered the same salad, one was missing croutons on a Caesar salad which only has 4 ingredients. So, salads were brought, then our main entrees. Our server came back after 1/2 through our meal trying to sell another cocktail when she hadn't even brought my husband's side to his entree. Which by the way was coleslaw.....everyone knows that takes forever to cook. And then on top of it DO NOT PAY CASH unless you count it in front of your server! No matter how tacky this sounds. Apparently, this is where we have 'devolved'. Because the server likes to 'lose' part of your payment in her pocket. So, she got an additional $20 tip! I my not be a Harvard graduate but I can count to 4 in $20 bills! Love the food but NOT THE GRAND...
