Good idea in theory for Grapevine to provide complementary shuttle buses, but they have this asinine policy to skip stops where there is congestion. So riders at stops that become congested have to wait an hour at a time until congestion has cleared up.
We experienced this when they skipped the Gaylord Texan stop due to congestion in the pick-up queue. No contingency plan at a convention center where congestion is a common occurrence.
I had to chase down the next shuttle after a 1-hour wait because it was in the process of doing the same thing of turning around without reaching the pick-up spot. Unbelievable.

Read moreGreat place to visit and learn about the history and attractions of Grapevine. The staff are friendly and have a wealth of knowledge on the town. Place is clean and full of great information. Grapevine is the Christmas capital of North Texas. The bureau supports vendors and all the local festivals in Grapevine, including Christmas and Grapefest, and has fun exhibits.
