Art Works Gallery — Attraction in Grass Valley

I purchased a piece of jewelry from this Gallery while visiting Grass Valley. Their system was not working correctly so, they had to manually do a receipt and advised that I would be charged later. I was not charged the correct amount. I called and the lady that answered the phone "Sharron" was very rude! She stated that maybe it was the tax that was wrong or that the credit card company has a service charge. I stated that you should have charged me what the receipt had been written for while I was present not a different amount later. She then states that this is for .06 cents. I was like is that really the point...NO! The point is that you did not charge what you wrote up the receipt for. I will not shop at this store in...

I have shopped here for many years when I visit this area of CA. I have purchased jewelry, fused glass pieces and bowls made from stone. I have many pieces of the artist that does beautiful creative fused glass. I have NEVER found anyone in this gallery rude, or disrespectful and ALWAYS get my inquiries responded to either in person or phone call. I cannot imagine that anyone would have a negative experience here, they are all delightful, knowledgeable and professional artists! I wish them many, many years of success. This is a co-op gallery, owned and managed by 30 plus Nevada County artists. It's been here over a decade, and is definitely a premier art site in Nevada County.

The gallery is beautiful, with a wide variety of art forms available... Painting, sculptures, clay, glass, mosaic, gourds... And lots of lovely jewelry 😍.

The staff working the gallery are themselves participating artists, so it's always interesting to ask them about their work on display. They're usually pretty knowledgeable about the other art as well!

Well worth a visit as part of a not-to-be-missed trip to downtown...
