Gift of Games was my Local Game Store (LGS) for three years. I’ve been to countless LGSes due to my job and I will say this was the best LGS I’ve been to. The thing they did the best at doing was foster community. Regardless of what you are into, there was a place for you and made you feel welcomed. Tim, the owner, and most of his staff went out of their way to not only know my name but ask how my family was and took genuine interest in me. Read moreafter going to the shop a couple times it I grew to like it as I found out new things. they don't allow food or drinks that don't have top if you need a drink they do sell soda and water behind the counter just ask what they currently have. they have a good amount of events going on like draft on Friday and if there are enough people they will do a friday night standard for magic the gathering that's fun. but mostly I go there for commander on Sunday it usually starts at 1 and they usually get around 10 to 15 people caps at 20. so if you want to play some commander come down on Sunday even if you don't wanna play in the tournament come early and plays some games...

I drove for two hours almost at the spur of the moment to participate in a closed store TCG event and had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and engaged with their customers and their community. I have half a dozen stores within 15 minutes' driving distance of my home, but I can easily see myself making the trip to come here again in the future.
