Unfortunately we won’t be back.

The first thing I noticed was one of your employees was dressed inappropriately. Her stomach was out. That set a very unprofessional tone.

The lady at the front desk was very nice and so was the owner, Mr. Eddy.

My service provider was professional, but not personable. She wasn’t warm and seemed like she didn’t want to talk, so I wasn’t surprised when she told me “no talking during the service.”

(That’s not a big deal, but I didn’t think that was nice to say)

Overall, the service was mediocre.

My service provider told me to Undress from the waist up and to put on a Velcro towel. She stepped out of the room, but came back over five minutes later.

(I think it was seven minutes and to me anything over 3 minutes is unacceptable.)

(My twin sister said her service provider told her she’ll be back in two minutes and she was)

I would’ve preferred my service provider to do that as well.

At one point of the service, I didn’t feel her working on me at all, for about 10 minutes. So I said “ Are you still there?” No response

“Hello?” No response

So I removed my face mask and to my surprise she wasn’t even in the room.

I did not like this at all!! She didn’t say that she was stepping out or anything. She just left me laying there.

Please tell your employees: They should let clients know if they’re stepping out of the room and for about how long they’ll be out. I didn’t know if she went to the bathroom or what? She just left me there?

To me this is so unacceptable especially for such an expensive service that’s 50 minutes.

I almost got up and started to get dressed. But then she came back in the room and finished my service.

My twin sister said she experienced the same thing, and she almost got up too. We both felt abandoned.

I will say, I loved the pillow under my legs, and the 15 pound weighted blanket. She also covered my feet, which was really nice of her. My scalp felt very clean. But I also came in with a clean scalp.

It’s an expensive scalp/hair wash. You can get your scalp/hair washed, dried and styled for the same price elsewhere.

The service was excellent, the staff was pleasant, and the spa itself was beautiful. Plenty of parking was nice as well.

I opted for the Nurture Me Growth experience ($150), which included a deep scalp cleansing with tea tree. While the experience was relaxing, after the initial scalp examination, they didn’t show me the results post-treatment. It would have been nice to see how effective the cleansing was, if any.

One major downside was the additional cost for a blow-dry. It was not included in the treatment, and is priced on length of the hair ($165 total for me). Unfortunately, the blow-dry was not thorough -my scalp was still damp, and when I walked outside, my hair swelled up immediately. No styling was included in the cost, and while I did ask for scalp recommendations, they were more like general suggestions rather than personalized advice.

Additionally, I treated my mother to the experience and blow dry (total $180 for longer hair), and after leaving a tip, I paid around $400. While the ambiance, cleanliness, and professionalism of the staff were all excellent, I didn’t feel the value fully matched the price. Mesha was my specialist and the experience I had was beyond anything I could have imagined. From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in a sense of calm and peace. Mesha was very welcoming greeted me and made me feel comfortable right away.

Mesha showed my hair follicles on a screen and as she begin massaging my head as I laid, the stress and tension I had been carrying for so long seemed to melt away. The care and attention given by the therapist especially to a loc girly made a wave of emotions rise up and before I knew one moment I was sleep and dreaming of nothing but happy moments and then I realized tears were beginning to form but not from sadness but from a profound relief and joy.

It was as if a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and I left the spa feeling lighter, happier and more at peace.

I have already recommended this experience to several friends and co-workers. Highly recommend Mesha because she expressed to me she has had locs before so she truly knows getting that deep scrub/rub means everything. For others if you know your hair properly prepare and trust you will not be disappointed.
