Online and in-person is just about the same. Store clerks and representatives have no idea or consideration of how time works.
Real life scenarios: If you don’t have an online order, you’ll have to be there by 10:45pm. How else do you expect to enter the building? They wont let you through the door without an online order past said time although closing hours are 11pm.
If you do follow instructions(doesn’t matter the time) and have one, you’ll still have to: find cash, stand in line and wait for your order to be fulfilled. There isn’t a special area or a pickup box(suggestion) and even when you do order online, it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll get served upon arriving on the hour or a minute after. They don’t account for the time it takes a customer to exit their vehicles(if driving), walking to the door, ringing the DOORBELL and waiting for them to answer.
Apparently all employees are allotted a 7minute grace period where they can be late for work. The store can now have a late start up. Great. But upon closing, closing procedures are expedited and commences 7minutes before closing so said employees can be out of store ON the hour. Not after, but during and ON the hour. Or so it seems. While approaching the premises, you can clearly see the eager staff(time it takes to answer the door) with brooms and other utensils within their hands ready to tell you, “oh we’re closing/closed.” Ask a question with some form of hesitancy, and you’re treated like an insurgent about to start a riot. Followed by months of ill-treatment by staff moving forward for having the courage to say something in front of a group. As far as I see, there’s a mechanized doors for a reason. If the order is paid for online, why can’t a hand be placed through said door with such deliverables? Quite frankly, I’m tired of asking where’s the humanity only to be rewarded by some point system or discount. Nobody wants nothing for free. Much less an overpriced product that I could’ve waited for but clearly there was a need which the employees have failed to acknowledge. It costs me just as much in travel fares getting there as it does for my goods. Yes, I was willing to travel the distance. But again, people don’t consider the logistics of things. 😊
So free game: within the area, you guys are the latest closing store. That establishes a need. Tax wise, you guys a the most lenient. Accessibility wise, it’s a hole in the wall. Those who know, knows and I’m the reason why people disappointed from other store’s closing hours, are aware of you guys. Word of mouth. While ru busy trying to take money out of my...
Read moreUpdate again 2/11 Placed a preorder and can IN THE SNOW. Just for them to close earlier than the 8pm that was on the website. Understandable but again BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I only come here because I live 5 minutes up the street. The deals are terrible customer service has went in the toilet and again service was trash. I was once a loyal customer and now I HATE having to even consider this place. Literally bottom better you better off driving to laurel.
Update update 11/13/2024
Idk what has happened here everything about waave has gone down hill. They are 5 mins away but I will go out my way to shop elsewhere for better deals and service. The lines are slow, the budtenders can be rude. One snapped at me when I asked him how he was doing and I have never had a problem with anybody in here before. S/O to Angel she is the sweetest. However, It is to the point now where I hate coming here and only come when absolutely necessary.
Pros though: they are the latest open dispensary around which comes super clutch.
Update 2 years late post legalization: This dispensary is pretty on par with how PG county moves. The prices are nowhere near as low as they use to since it has been legalized. There has also been a change im staff. The staff use to be friendly, some of my favorite budtenders. That is no longer the case. I had a budtender snap at me when I asked him how he was doing. Which is very weird as I come here ALL the time. He almost always has an attitude when I come in. And overall the good vibes from the staff is low. However Angel always brings a smile to my face, so Shout Out to her! Idk what changed about Waave but not the same and lowkey not worth coming throughout at this point. You better off picking up in Laurel.
This is my favorite dispensary. Probably because it is the closest one. Love all the bus tenders they are always nice and knowledgeable and they know what I would like at this point. Would be 5 stars but I find the manager just a little off from the rest of the team. He sticks out like a sore thumb when comparing his customer service vs his teams. I do like the way he runs his deals. It makes it possible to get your meds for a good price and to always be able to get great bud a little...
Read moreBeen coming for like three months every Wednesday and I was liking it. Just recently I bought a In House .5 grams disposable. I was stoked since according to the packaging it was a new design. I opened it and it didn’t have a button like the packaging advertised and the charging port wasn’t usb c as advertised as well, it was micro usb but no big issue. I tried it, and it worked fine. Later that night i tried it one more time and saw it was already clogged. I kept trying to use it and getting no smoke, before i realized the oil was almost reaching my mouth. I called Waave and they said no problem just bring it back in. I explained how i live far and only come to this area on Wednesday's and i was told that it was fine to come next Wednesday. Here i am today, looking like an idiot. The budtender said i can’t get anything because “you almost finished all of it” when most of it leaked. I tried explaining how i had to inhale hard to try to unclog it which sucked more of the oil into the battery, not to mention how some of it probably got burned while inhaling trying to unclog it but no vapor coming out. The budtender said if i wanted her to ask the manager and the manager apparently said the same thing. I was gonna keep trying but the security started pressing me that i wasn’t getting anything and to let it go. I didn’t want any trouble, it was just $20 after all so i left. At least a discount would have been nice and showed that they were understanding. Either way i bought some things to make it clear that i wasn’t just trying get free stuff from them....
