I've been a customer here since 2017. I have never had a problem with them until recently. The shop staff are very professional and know what they're talking about. They have always been fairly quick and are priced reasonably for the market. Recently, though, their shop has gone downhill in a major way. I took my phone into a different store out-of-state who told me that the quality of glass they were using for screen replacements was cheap and that they were scamming me. As I am no expert in screen repair I cannot personally attest to the truth in this. However, I did notice just how easily my screen had broken again after having it fixed by them. It shattered completely after only a week, from a simple drop from shoulder height. Once I got it repaired by a competitor I never had problems with my screen again. Then I went in to get them to reset the battery in my phone. Just as a courtesy most phone places will gladly do this. They refused because they habitually prefer to cover themselves from possible lawsuits instead of actually helping customers. They labeled it as "high risk" to disconnect and reconnect the battery upon my request because they were too concerned that they might mess something else up in doing so. Then the shop manager told me he would happily do a battery replacement for $70. So I come back the next day and they refused me service. Again for some sort of "legal risk" with them being afraid I would file a lawsuit if the battery was ineffective. I settled on a two star review due to how helpful they have been in the past but in recent weeks, their shop has had more like a 0-1 star performance. I wouldn't recommend going here until they shape up.
Edited update in response to owner's reply:
Now I have sincerely lost all respect for this shop as it attempts to twist what it has done into a service. They offered to sell me a different phone but did not offer me any sort of loaner phone. As a matter of fact, when I asked about a loaner phone they specifically said no. As can be seen in the transcript of their audio recording. Also the fact that this shop refuses to comment on how other shops speak of them pretty much completely confirms what the other shops are saying about them using inferior products on their phones. I would definitely like to do some tests on the quality of products they use versus other repair shops'. But for now I will suffice it to say that when speaking to other customers, many of them noted how their replacement was broken within 30 days, that they were denied repair due to the nature of the damage, and had to get it replaced somewhere else. Furthermore, it should be noted that I didn't come back to them ever again for a repair after I felt like I was being scammed. As a matter of fact, I declined their services and had the phone fixed at batteries + bulbs in a simple battery replacement. Which I am happy to back through proof of receipts and transactions. I'd love for them to publicly release the video transcripts with which they tried to condescendingly threaten me. Im very disappointed with the way this shop handled the situation and I sincerely hope they decide to get themselves back into shape. I've now officially bumped them from two stars...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would highly discourage having your cell phone fixed here. The only reason why they have good reviews is bc they offer a free case or free screen protector if you write a good review. I turned down an offer to have my phone fixed by a friend of a friend bc I wanted things done correctly. I paid more than double at Jaytonnix. I brought my phone in on 7/8/17 to have the screen replaced. I dropped & broke my screen the day before. I needed my phone fixed quickly bc my family & I were going away to the beach for the weekend. My screen was replaced & my screen resolution was the same. That weekend I noticed a white dot at the bottom of my screen. I research it and it was a light leak bc of the screen not being fixed properly. I brought it back on 7/16 to get fixed. As soon as I got home w/ my phone that afternoon the screen from the bottom of my phone popped from the right corner. I panicked and having had a tiresome day I just popped it back in. I did not feel like going back to have my phone checked. All I wanted to do was relax. Note that I had bought my phone a screen protector & it wasn't replaced. So I lost the cost of my screen protector. Over the week I noticed that my screen was not as bright as it was before. I reset all the settings on my phone, made sure the brightness wasn't locked to a low level etc. Nothing worked. I meant to bring my phone back on 7/14 but did not have time. A cheap darker vision of a screen replacement was probably used. Yesterday I dropped my phone on carpet from my couch probably a foot off the ground. The screen popped from the side of my phone AGAIN this time worse. I left work early and went to Jaytronnix. I told them that I wanted my phone fixed correctly bc I was tiered of coming back almost each week. I told the lady at the front desk that my screen was popping. She looked at my phone up closed & said that the frame was bent. The man that I dealt with told me my phone was bent & therefore the screen was popping. He said that the screen was not glued down so it could pop from the sides. I told him that I must have dropped my phone w/ the original screen many times & it never popped from the sides. He said do you understand that you phone is metal & I can't just bend it back to place. You do understand that right ? I told him I wasn't stupid & I told him that I didn't have a problem w/ my screen popping out before I brought it to them. It happen as soon as I got it back from them the second time. The first time everything was perfect but the white dot on my screen. To make things short I asked him if I was wasting my time & he kept trying to make it seem like I stupid. I grabbed my phone and left. So I know I'm not the only one w/ a bad experience,I hope everyone would take the time to write a review when you had bad service to prevent other people's...

My phone's power button broke and it was constantly restarting. My boyfriend took my phone in for a diagnostic. THAT'S IT. Only to ask if they could fix the phone. After a whole day without a response, he tried to contact the store with no response. He eventually got an email that was just a copy of his request for a diagnostic. He was never able to get in touch with an actual person, either because the business phone was never answered or was turned off.
The phone was dropped off at 11 am on a Thursday. By Monday morning, I could've had two phones delivered back to back from Amazon, but was waiting on a response from the business to see if they could fix my phone for a cheaper price than buying a new one.
So on Monday, having had my phone for 4 days with no contact from the business, my boyfriend returned to the store to pickup my phone regardless of the status. The owner (I think?) Informed him that my phone was in HIGH POINT for some reason, even though we had never authorized him to actually begin repairs. So I had to wait another day, because he allowed his employee to take my phone 30 minutes away from the store, even though all I requested was a diagnostic. He was unwilling to get his employee to return the phone that day, and told us to return the next day to pick it up.
Tldr: dropped off my phone first thing Thursday for a diagnostic. Never received any info from the owner over a five day period and had to wait an additional day for his employee to bring my phone back from another city, all for them to have done absolutely nothing to help me.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE.
The owner's response to this post was the only response I got from him regarding my phone except for a basic email (probably a copy paste) saying he had...
