Me and my family came July 26. it was our first time. we kept hearing and seeing the ads online about this location. I decided we should go and try it out we drove all the way from Winston to Greensboro to come and taste it. We had a great experience our cashier he was nice it was an older gentleman he answer all our questions about the products. It took us over 15 minutes to decide what we wanted...... 1st The prices wow!!! were a little pricey we got a KING Mangonada, a watermelon popsicle ( paleta de sandía) Nutella giant smackdown and 2 tamarindo popsicle (paletas) 2 drinks so bring extra money bc a family of 4 you will likely cost you $40. In my opinion I think that it must be pricey because if you get anything in a mason jar that’s pretty much half of the price for the cup, but it’s a cool Souvenir to take home. 2nd I give props to them because everything with the COVID-19 they have limited seating arrangements So it was kind of hard to find a table to sit at, but very understandable with this pandemic to try to find a seat. we had to wait until A family got up to sit all four of us. 3rd was an downside it took us almost 15 minutes for our desserts to get finish we were not pleased with the timing we just had simple items that should not have taken too long to make. 4th very upsetting The company need to work on getting a speaker to call the number out “Please” or and lower the music to be able to hear as we are writing this review we have gone 3 times already to the location and is still having the same problem hearing the numbers being called out. many people were waiting for like 20 minutes to get there treats. And so many stuff is left out on top of the counter because the people cannot hear the numbers being called out.!!!!!! Our 3rd experience was we can August 8 it was so packed the line was out the door. We waited like everyone else when we got an available The table was so dirty we told his staff member if they can come clean the tables. no one came out to clean it we had a sit at a dirty table The entire time. I guess they were low on staff because there was only two girls doing service one guy at the register and one guy making churros. This was around 5pm. And again the number ticket calling was a problem there should be a way of organizing this issue. My son wanted 1 churro and they wouldn’t sell me 1 individually I did not want to pay for a whole batch so be mindful of that deal. Other than that our experiences have been well the treat and ice cream taste well the employees were so nice and friendly. I did love the fact that you can see through the glass when they are making it your Treats. The facility was very clean. very decorative. Definitely will be a repeated customer. Our favorite so far is the “Giant Nutella” . Todo era delicioso gracias.
. Please work on getting...
Read moreThis is a review of the new one that opened in W-S, NC. I would love to give them a second chance and enjoy the ice cream with my family but I would have to rethink it three times before I do go again. We were told that it would take an hour and 30 mins for our order which was understandable due to the long line of customers. But apparently one of the workers mentioned that they were well staffed and did not lack any help in the kitchen. Apparently it was the lack of training and experience in making the food that was leading to the long waiting time.
I figured since it was our first time and the high prices for the ice cream would maybe reflect a high quality taste of the ice cream but unfortunately it did not.
I will say this it was 50% my fault for the bad experience. And the other 50% their fault. I did not do enough research on what I was ordering for the family. But something I found out later that the cashier should have mentioned was the option of adding or not adding chocolate to the ice cream. The only detail the cashier mentioned was if I wanted “to go all the way” which I had not clue what that meant. I thought it meant “supersize it” and agreed to it. Apparently it meant something else and after researching on the website menu it meant adding chocolate .00 cents extra (I think) and a syringe of adrenaline which was .35 cents extra for each ice cream. Honestly that kind of ticked me off. Not everyone in my family likes chocolate which sort of ruined the family night out. And it feels like the cashier and company are taking advantage of a few extra coins that isn’t much. But when I imagine the other customers not being told about this. It could all add up to over hundreds of dollars. I could see that the cashier was overwhelmed and maybe needed to keep the line moving and it’s my fault for not asking what was “go all the way” but makes me feel like I’m just a money paying customer instead of “a customer” who they need and value for their business to keep on going. The music soundtrack playing in the speakers was pretty good and enjoyable while waiting for the ice cream just too high in volume. I felt there was good spacing in the tables and where the customer line was located. Would be a great place to hang out with friends and co-workers. Loved that their was menu outside the doors to look at while waiting in line. And that the menu in the inside was big enough to see from far away. I love love the Luchadores theme for the ice cream shop and the Mexican street food gourmet desserts which were the two main things that attracted me to go there. Price is one thing but quality and taste is something more to go for me. Hopefully I will return and give them one last chance before I make a final decision about the...
Read moreWho doesn't love lucha wrestling and deserts sure not this guy. I seen this place when planning a trip down to visit my partners family and I am like come on doesn't it get any better. We walked in to be greeted by a really kind guy behind the counter. We talked to him about finding place and coming all the way from Pennsylvania to visit family but this place was on list to he was very humbled and definitely tried to make sure we were taken care of. He really tried to sell me on the bigger deserts but after having a large lunch we were taping for just little desert. We ordered a stuffed strawberry churros and 8 pack of regular churros with Carmel dipping sauce the 8 pack. The churro stuffed with strawberry had a great taste to it crunch on outside and yummy soft berry filled inside. Like the goldilocks it wasn't too sweet or not sweet enough it was just right. It was great. The churros it self had nice flavor to it and the dipping sauce had giving me a body slam into my taste buds. My partner sadly was tapping out with how much churros had put him in headlock of yummy goodness and stomach said I quiet. So I got the hot tag finish then off with my partner of the Carmel sauce. They were defeated one two three. And everyone was done floating on the cheers of the sweetness we just finished. Now let's get to theming of this place and another reason I wanted to go. Just lucha and wrestling just plastered all over the wall. Pictures and the masks. Which growing up as a fan of WCW and WWE. This place was packed with memories of past amazing wrestling history. And plenty of photo opportunities. Want be the champ of the place they have there own title that you can take picture with there wall of legends. The atmosphere alone will hype you as a fan. It's in the corner of a shopping mall tucked away but worth the chance to check out the place for unique deserts and atmosphere alone. The worker was amazing there And really busted his ass to have the best experience for his customers. If we every take trek down again will be on list to stop back in. And let my taste buds take on the challenge of there larger than life may dare say legendary treats. Check it out for yourself. You never know what...
