Terrible experience! Do not recommend to my worst enemy. I had my daughter's 2nd birthday party at the West Market, Greensboro NC location and everything was horrendous. The bathroom had roaches, toilet tissue all over the seats, the party room was dirty, the staff was very unprofessional and not welcoming, our child 1 and 2 year olds forced to go up and downstairs to go play on the playground area. The people at the front desk were unorganized, one of the representatives said "this is so and so and she is your party host" the woman responded "that is not my party, you need to find her party host!" I let the manager on duty know everything, she was extremely apologetic however, an apology didn't fix the fact that I paid $225 for a dirty space with unwelcoming people. walked into my "Treehouse" room to excessive heat with a fan and pizza and cheese all over the ground as the party host swept. I asked my party host not to help any longer because she gave us no instructions as first time visitors and no guidance with our toddlers nevertheless our space was filthy. With the package I also received a free pass in which I will not be using and have trashed because they do not even follow the COVID-19 precautions with their employees. The employees were wearing their masks on their chins as they continued to make announcements about the importance of wearing a mask or you'd be asked to leave, quite a contradiction. This is alarming because the children that are their general population that they serve aren't even of age to get vaccinated. I am extremely disappointed, I didn't intend to leave a review because I believe that everyone has their own experiences and I'd rather figure it out with management. However, after being very graceful and begging for at least half of my $225 back, being offered $25 back, and after 3 follow up calls to the GM and her manager, I think that parents should be aware of what they are getting theirselves into booking a party here for their children. The icing on the cake for me was that right outside of this facility people were smoking marijuana and I care nothing about peoples' habits but I do care when it affects people around them, our children had to inhale second hand smoke leaving the facility. This is not a healthy environment to have your children. I do not recommend and will never use this business again even if it is offered to be free. I did get half of my money back however, it was never that I couldn't afford the place it was just not worth it...
Read moreI had a party for my son yesterday at the Greensboro location. We got there at our expected time and we stood there for 20 mins before anyone told us where we could put our stuff or even acknowledged us. We had to ask 3 or 4 people before anything was put up for us. Then at 3:15 15 mins prior to our party our host was no where to be found I ended up having to find someone and say hey were supposed to be in the room at this time, they got us back there and then no one brought us pizzas I had to find another person to get our two pizzas. We never got our waters, plates nothing. They gave me my tokens for bumper cars tens mins before walking out of the door (5 pm when my party was at 2:30). I actually had half of my party pay for bumper cars because they were told they had to pay after I told them I paid for the bumper cars that's when at 5 pm I was handed my tokens. We never even seen our host except for about 2 mins once we arrived. I had to go to the front once more to get his bin so he could get his presents. It was a nightmare. (BTW we didn’t even know we had a bin because we were not told) The play zone said 45 capacity when it had about 100. We had to stand the entire time we couldn't even find a seat. The hostess didn't help us set up, clean nothing. We set up & cleaned up everything even though we paid for help. There was a blonde lady at the front who did help us if it wasn’t for her we wouldn’t have had anything. The staff was very rude, disrespectful unorganized I can definitely say I will never return because of our experience today. I was so disappointed after spending $240.00 for this outcome. I spoke with the manager who did extend my room time by 20 mins because of me not getting in it until late which didn’t change the fact of everything that had happened prior. The play area was great except for there was so many people in the play area you couldn’t even see the kids where they were playing. Overall it was a disaster. I contacted the owner to tell him of my experience there and he never even had the decency to respond. No apology nothing! I wouldn’t recommend this place. Very disrespectful, very disorganized, there was no where near enough staff for as many people that there was, there’s not enough seating. The area I paid 240.00 was barley big enough to turn around in! We will not be going back and once they got our business they couldn’t even respond to our concerns not a great way to...
Read moreOn Friday, jan. 4, 2019, I went with my daughter and grandson, age 8, to safari nation. The fun he had was tremendous. It was crowded. I had a big problem with so many adults inside the jungle, men and women. There are many dark places without full vision to see where ur child is. For about 20 minutes, there were 3 adult women inside the ball pit area with no children inside. At another time a child's mom was laying face down on the top floor while her child who looked to be 5 ran around. I was not clear as to why parents were hanging out inside the jungle. I DO fully understand that parents want to make sure their younger kids are safe and not being hurt or bullied by adults or other children. The first thing that I noticed was when an older man entered the jungle crawling thru like a child, close to the ball pit. The concern was when this same guy decided he would sit Indian style on the 2nd level on one of the climbing platforms. He stayed there about 15 minutes. I actually thought he was staff so I asked a nice young lady attendant to confirm he was staff. She said he is a parent. I asked why he was sitting there. She said that parents can roam around the jungle freely. This happens to be a very unsafe and risky thing for safari nation to allow. To allow so many adults to hang out in the jungle is crazy. Another time during our stay, we counted 4 adults standing on the top floor together chatting, as my grandson came running by that area. Even young children, 3 and 4, want to climb and play with the older kids and siblings and parents need to keep a close eye and enter the jungle to be sure they are ok and I agree fully. Those should be the only parents actually inside the jungle. This adult hanging out business made me nervous, especially when my grandson was out of sight. I did speak to the Indian lady, who I think is the co-owner, and she was not receptive to my concerns. Her solution was for me to crawl and travel inside the jungle. Final word: we live in a world with plenty of people who can cause harm to children, and when a facility like this allows adults to be in close proximity to so many children, unnecessarily, they do not deserve...
