Greensboro is reaching the point of coffee shop oversaturation, but even amid the abundance of other options, Fig and Olive manages to stand out. The coffee drinks include homemade syrups not easily found elsewhere such as fig and honey or pistachio cream. So too it goes with the desserts, which include everything from eclairs to crookies (chocolate chip cookie stuffed croissant rolls, the kind of mad science we can all get behind).

I opted for an iced karak/adani chai, and, after being wracked by indecision (thankfully, staff here are patient and courteous) at the pastry case, a Biscoff New York roll. Prices here aren’t cheap – the 16-ounce chai ran $6 – but that and calories are likely to be your only regrets.

The karak chai was very good: stronger than the more familiar masala chai albeit not overwhelming. The best way to describe the Biscoff roll is “wrong in a good way.” Imagine layers of buttery, flaky pastry stuffed with cookie butter. “Delicious” doesn’t do it justice.

One final note: Fig and Olive is bright and clean with plenty of comfortable seating. If your memories of Nazareth are of it seeming slightly run down, prepare to see this side of the house in a very different light.

If Fig and Olive existed when I lived within walking distance of it, I might have spent a dangerous amount of time here. As it now stands, it’s a bit of a trek, but it’s one that I’ll gladly make. Those who live closer, go here now...

Benefit of the doubt that I may have just visited on an off day, but my experience wasn’t good. It’s not warm or cozy by any means, it’s more along the lines of a storage room for the restaurant it’s connected to, but okay, not a dealbreaker. The girl taking orders was unfriendly to say the least and finished her conversation with the barista, maybe 20 or so seconds of me standing there staring at her before acknowledging me. The drink was amazing, the pistachio latte which came out quickly. I sat down to do some work and the WiFi cut in and out again and again. I overheard the people around me who were also trying to work complaining that it’s unusable. Once it did connect the Google homepage took about 30 seconds to load. It was unusable indeed. I had to connect to my phone hotspot just to check my email. Although the coffee was good, I don’t think I’ll be back. There are 10 other coffee shops within 10 minutes with much warmer, cleaner...

Fig and Olive Café is a must-visit for any coffee lover! This charming spot offers some of the yummiest coffee I’ve ever had, paired perfectly with their delicious croissant rolls. Every bite of their rolled croissants is a delight...the crispy, flaky layers just melt in your mouth.

What I love most about Fig and Olive is their commitment to keeping things fresh and exciting. They’re always introducing new flavors and seasonal specialties, which means there’s always something new to try. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic coffee or want to explore one of their innovative seasonal drinks, you won’t be disappointed.

The vibe is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. If you haven’t stopped by Fig and Olive Café yet, make it your next coffee destination—you won’t regret it! 10/10...

This is one of my favorite places in Greensboro, NC!!! I visit every morning!! Eunice, makes the best latte!!! The entire staff is pleasant, always super kind, and extremely refreshing!!! The ladies are always the same during each visit!!! I love their lobby as it has super comfortable seating!!! It's has a nice vibe!!! One can work, or simply relax, the atmosphere is conducive for either!!! It's a must visit!!! The dessert is awesome. Everything is made in-house, which makes it super special!!! Parking can be hectic during peak hours, so we avoid peak hours!!! We love our downtime here!!! It's quiet and quaint, and depending on what day it is, it can be busy and exciting!! I love this place!! If you ever visit, tell them (Ms. Hope), I sent you in🤩 and for them to reward me with a chocolate chip cookie! LOL!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

I visited Fig and Olive on Memorial Day Weekend with a few friends. Unfortunately, their air conditioning was out, making it uncomfortably hot inside and detracting from the experience. However, the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which made a positive difference. I ordered an iced Adani chai and a Biscoff pastry, both of which were delicious. My friend tried the pistachio cream latte and loved it. We arrived around 4 PM and noticed that there were only a few types of pastries left. Despite this, I enjoyed the spacious and inviting atmosphere of the café. Fig and Olive has tremendous potential, and I'm excited to see it flourish! It's wonderful to have such a unique spot in the Triad.
