Made reservations for 2 lanes at 4:00 for my daughter’s 21st birthday with the corporate office. Lady I talked with for reservations was phenomenal. I could not wait to bowl with the girls. I was told to make sure we got there early to start bowling at 4 because our time started at that time if we were there or not. We got there early and was told they would do their best to get us on a lane by 4:30. I then asked why was our lanes given to someone else when we had reservations at 4. The lady at the desk said we made reservations through corporate and I asked what difference that made. She did not give an answer for that. I then asked to talk with the manager. Cory the manager came over and told me I could leave and get a full refund. I told him I would not be able to get in another place last minute for 8 people to do something and that’s why I made the reservation in the first place. Never once did he apologize. Said he would do his best to get me on a lane like she told me. I told him I paid $174 for 2 lanes for 1 hour and now would be lucky to get a game in before our dinner reservations at 6. He proceeded to tell me the people that were bowling paid $2000. I told him I didn’t care about those people and he said those people don’t care about me. I said we weren’t talking about those people we were talking about us. But after that remark he made I soon realized that’s why our lanes were not there at 4 like they were supposed to be. We finally got a lane at 4:42 and only got one lane. I didn’t bowl now to give the girls more time to get bowling in. Cory came up and asked how everything was going. In tears by this time I told him i was not bowling to let the girls get a game in. He had the nerve to say to another employee in front of me he knew better to give us a lane and said he tries to accommodate everyone and I don’t appreciate it. After a couple minutes he came over and asked if I wanted to bowl or leave as is. It was too late then…the girls had already bowled a couple of frames and WE DID NOT HAVE TIME to switch up because of our dinner reservations. Then I went to the bathroom to calm myself down and no toilet tissue to be found anywhere!! The counters were disgusting and no toilet paper in any of the stalls. Back at the lane I had to stand the entire time and there were 7 adult girls on one couch crowded while bowling on one lane. Totally unacceptable and I have never been treated so badly from anyone. Would NEVER EVER have a manager like him working for a company I owned. No apologies from anyone. He never did come back over and tell me he was reimbursing me for anything. Never saw him again. As soon as the girls game was over we had to rush to dinner reservations. I saw a review where it said if you make reservations and pay the $60 a lane they are 100% set with no waiting!! I guess the mgr. don’t care about that. In fact there were 2 lanes available when we finally got one but he gave the one to walk ins that have been waiting for a lane. So crazy!! I sent email and left voicemail to corporate. Will update this after I hear...
Read moreI visited 810 tonight after work with some friends, expecting to relax and have a good time. Unfortunately, what we experienced was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
Upon arrival, we waited over ten minutes at the door just to be checked in. After that, we headed to the bar and were told a server would be with us shortly — that turned into another 15-minute wait. When we asked another server if he was assigned to us, he not only said no but also refused to help in any way. Eventually, a server did arrive and took our order, but by then, the evening had already gotten off to a bad start.
Then, while bowling, the pins malfunctioned and kept resetting on their own while our game timer kept running. After bringing it to someone's attention, they added ten minutes to the timer, but the interruption still took away from our experience.
Later, we moved to the pool area, and I returned to the bar to order two buckets of domestic beer and a Bloody Mary. I waited at the empty bar for another 10-15 minutes just to place my order, then an additional 5-10 minutes to receive it. During that time, two girls walked up, and the bartender — a woman with very short hair — served them instantly and even gave them a drink before they got to the bar. When one of the girls said she didn’t want the drink, the bartender responded dismissively, and that’s when I spoke up and asked if my Bloody Mary was even started.
She pointed down the bar and said it was "over there." I walked over and found the drink unattended, with a server chatting nearby and clearly not concerned about getting it to me. I asked if the bucket sitting there was mine, she said yes. I told her to cancel the Bloody Mary — I could see right through it, and it looked awful. They insisted it was ready, but I told them to keep it. I took the bucket and walked away.
The overall service was absolutely terrible. The wait times were unacceptable, the bartender was rude and dismissive, and it was clear that certain guests — apparently friends of the staff — were given priority and even free drinks. As someone who works in the service industry, I was shocked. At my job, this kind of behavior would have gotten someone fired on the spot.
I’ve been to other 810 locations and always had a great time. This one, however, was a complete joke. Unless there’s a serious change in staff and attitude at this location, I won’t be coming back — and I’ll be advising others to...
Read moreI want to start this off by saying the worker that greeted us at the front was beyond amazing and even brought us our first round of drinks. They have been exceptional every single time we have visited and if I do return back, it will only be because the bowling is good and I appreciate them as a worker. (I do not know their name, unfortunately, but they have bracelets, colored contacts, and Sparkly nails).
Up until this point I’ve had great experiences here. However, this time took the cake for worst service I’ve received all year.
The service was AWFUL. Our server was checked out the whole night except when it came to talking behind the bar. We bowled for 2 hours and an hour and 40 minutes into it we finally received our food. We only even received the food because we asked knowing that our time was about to run out. I seriously think that if we did not ask, we would not have been checked on a single time. The drinks were not refilled the whole night in a two hour span. We were missing sauces and were told that they would be brought to our table and they were not. Another member of our party also did not get their drink for an hour until we asked.
The server told us that the kitchen was really backed up on orders, but it was not busy at all and even if they were backed up, I doubt it takes an hour and 40 minutes to cook a pizza, especially when the people across from us got chicken 30 minutes before our food came out . If you forget to ring in and order, it’s better to be honest, then a blatant lie to a bunch of service industry workers. They stated that there was no more sweet tea when she finally checked on us at the end and asked if I wanted anything else, so I asked for water and it was never brought to us. So basically we were here for two hours and she couldn’t bother to check on our table once. We even had to ask a server assistant for the check because she was leaned over the bar talking.
Once we got the check it was all wrong. Probably because she initially forgot to ring in the food and blamed the kitchen. She proceeded to argue with our group about a drink that we never received. We were hardly checked on all night....
