This place looks great. The presentation of the food, especially at the salad bar, is top notch. The meats are mainly all great. The biggest complaint is about the service for a place like this. Oh yeah, you can't tip on your gift cards. TLDR for food, mix chimichuri with the orange vinaigrette that comes with the asparagus, To get seated, even when we were to get seated immediately, we were asked for our phone number just to instantly get a text that our table was ready. They constantly try to sell you on things but price is obfuscated. I didn't know my spring water was $8 nor that I was ordering a whole bottle with it. They have in text in the booklet they hand you that basically everything is extra, but it's never explained to you when you tell them you are first timers. The servers themselves, both the table server and the meat servers were delightful. When we noticed that we were consistently getting the same cuts of meat at our table, we notified our meat server and he made sure to send the other cuts on our side of the restaurant. It's great that they're so response, at the same time, it's terrible that you have to go out of your way to ask in the first place. My friend and I found our favorite cut late because we were served it so late, we were full by then. So talking about the food now. Let's start off with the salad bar. The salad bar is actually really good. We were happy with all the options that we tried there. The smoked salmon is exactly how you would want it, the lobster bisque cools really quickly so eat is fast or don't get too much. The chimichuri is good, the pineapple is amazing, the shrimp is alright. For the side items they bring to your table, everything was great. Fries could use a bit more seasoning but they were cooked just right. The mash potatoes were smooth and creamy, making the perfect sauce to dip your steaks in. The banana fosters were amazing but very sweet. The cheesey bread works well with the lobster bisque and potatoes. For the meats, the beste as the beef ribs. It was so tender that it split apart with a fork. The picanhas were next. Followed by the flank steak which due to the leanest was actually very refreshing. The main disappointment was the spicy cuts, they were all alright. The filet mignon was tragic and not very reminiscent of the cut. Pork ribs were as expected. The chicken was expected and meh as expected

Texas de Brazil is a premium South American churrasco restaurant that excels in barbecue and grilled meats. I celebrated my birthday here this year and enjoyed the experience overall. The "gauchos" serve various cuts of meat at your table. While most options were well-cooked and flavorful, my favorites were the filet mignon and garlic picanha. The leg of lamb was a pleasant surprise, but the Parmesan-crusted chicken was dry and lacking flavor. We spent over an hour there but unfortunately did not get to try everything. The included salad bar offered a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and charcuterie/antipasto. I enjoyed the salami and fresh mozzarella, but the prosciutto was excessively dry. Service was mixed. The red and green card system didn’t work well; gauchos often ignored our signals, leading to numerous interruptions during our conversations, making it hard to enjoy our meal. Our main server was friendly but inattentive. Be wary of extra charges. We were charged $16 for sparkling water and $9 for two Cokes (we only ordered one), although the sampler of fried bananas, cheese bread, and fries was complimentary. This can feel misleading, so be prepared to decline extras. The manager corrected our bill. At $50 per person (excluding drinks), it’s a solid dining option. I strongly recommend only coming here if you are very hungry to get your money's worth. If you can temper your expectations, it can be a great experience!

From the moment you step inside Texas de Brazil, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of sophisticated indulgence. The ambiance is warm and inviting, setting the stage for a truly memorable dining experience. But the real star of the show is, of course, the continuous tableside service of expertly grilled meats. Each cut, from the succulent picanha to the flavorful lamb chops, is cooked to perfection and carved right at your table. The gauchos are attentive and friendly, ensuring your plate is always filled with a delicious variety. Beyond the incredible meat selection, the gourmet salad bar is a delightful surprise. Offering a vibrant array of fresh vegetables, artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and more, it's a fantastic complement to the main event. The service is consistently excellent, with staff who are knowledgeable, courteous, and dedicated to making your visit enjoyable. From refilling drinks promptly to explaining the different cuts of meat, they truly go above and beyond. Texas de Brazil isn't just a meal; it's an experience. It's perfect for a special occasion or simply when you're craving a truly satisfying and high-quality dining adventure. I highly recommend it!

We had a reservation for 7pm finally sat us a 8pm. Now I get that it was Valentine weekend. We went Saturday night feb15th. My experience with this place was so bad. I couldn't understand the waitress, she sat us and told us how everything worked at this place. But after she brought us our drinks we never seen her again. Needed refill on drink but she never came back. Then they have all the tables right on top of one another. Very tight and just a chaotic atmosphere. The guys who brought the meat around didn't really say what they had to offer. Or if they did u can't hear them. Food was so nasty. Could not eat. And I noticed when we watched people walk out of restaurant when we were waiting on them to call us to be seated, nobody walked out with a smile on their face, They just looked very unhappy. I said to my girlfriend I don't think we're gonna have a good experience considering how all these people are coming out looking so mad or upset. Well once I got my bill I then also was of the people that walked out with a dissatisfied look on my face. Our bill was $120 and we did not order anything out of the ordinary. We did not order any alcohol. One Coke Coca-Cola, my girlfriend drank water with lemon, they charge five dollars for my Coca-Cola that I never got a refill on or someone to even come around and ask if I wanted a refill. But you would think with that price tag for that meal we would had excellent food. It was just some of the worst stuff I've ever ate. I looked over I had a few other tables and noticed they also were not really eating their food we're talking about full plates on the tables when people got up and left. Also overheard a few other people talking about misrepresentation on their website I'm not sure what she was talking about but I can definitely say it probably had a lot to do with quality of the food. And I am normally not one to get on here and bash a business or anything like that. But when I feel I was truly ripped off someone has to say something. I so badly wanted to speak to a manager to have my price changed or something but it is what it is I just said the heck with it And just paid it. Turned around walked out and had to go somewhere else and get something to eat because we left there hungry. So just a heads up Buyer beware. I still feel I should have a refund maybe someone from management will read this and wanna know why so many people are displeased and maybe do...

I'm sad to say my experience at this restaurant was not as good as I had hoped.

Reasons being:

Our table was against a wall that had high traffic. We had to look over our shoulder before getting out of our seats

The layout of the restaurant doesn't flow well.

The meats were very salty, some were well done. Our server said they'd be medium rare.

The lighting was very dim. We had trouble seeing.

There were little cards you flip from red to green when you are ready for more of the meat, but they came over even when we had it on red multiple times.

We weren't allowed to take any of our unfinished food to go.

When we were seated, we had the choice of tap, spring, or sparkling water. We chose spring water. Our server didn't tell us it would be an upcharge.

They didn't have some common items in the salad bar that were on the menu online. I understand some can be seasonal, but I feel if its at a nearby grocery store salad bar, why not at this restaurant too?

The entrance was difficult to find outside. Not enough signage to differentiate between where to go and such.

I was most excited for different types of beef, yet they went to our table once with the flank steak AND we had to ask for the filet mignon which was over cooked.

In the salad bar area, signage for what-was-what were placed in difficult spots to see / read them at. Believe it or not, the sign for potatoes au gratin was in the potato salad spot. This is important not only because they are hot or cold dishes, but the expectation for what you are eating.

This is an update to my original review from July, 2024. I noticed over the past year (almost a full 12 months) since my review was posted this business does not respond to any negative reviews - even if you put 3-4 overall stars. Perhaps they do read all reviews, who knows? However, I feel that even if there are bad reviews along with good ones, a business should try to work with what they get for bad feedback and turn it into a learning experience to improve in the future. Communication with all reviews posted would be appreciated.

I had high hopes for this restaurant when I visited a year ago. I am highly...
