Greenville County Family Court — Attraction in Greenville

The father of my daughter has taken me to this court eight times... that’s right EIGHT! Because he and his parents are financially better off and can afford to take us to court every time I make him or his wife mad. They are able to say whatever they want because they have the attorney and they started the case and I am left to prove my innocence as a parent on a very low income, Medicaid, food stamps, and I’ve only had an attorney 2 outta the 8 times and neither helped me because his attorney Spivey always waits until the last minute to have me served so I am always in a panic to find money for one that I can afford which there is not because I can’t even afford car insurance (the great state is SC took my license for that) so I get bad representation that hasn’t had time to actually fight for me. This last time he and his lawyer told the judge we had a verbal joint agreement and it was a LIE so my daughter was made to go from week to week until she was pushed to suicidal thoughts while being at HIS house so that abruptly ended the custody battle and I of course have her as I always have BUT her father and his wife sold all of her toys, clothes, tv and even her bed. They stopped allowing their children (her sisters) to speak to her at school, they stopped allowing her to stay over night, and he does not do ANY of the visitation. My daughter has to beg and he either uses the pandemic or something else...it’s been over two years and he is just now starting to allow her to sleep over and that is far and in between. Family court is about money like everything else.... this place really does not care about the children it places it cares about the money it gains from them.... we lost everything we had but each other this last time and that’s all that really matters but I know her and I would be better off if they had taken the time to see the truth and listen. What’s worse is the pain and the on-going pain he is allowed...

This is a business more than a court protecting families. They hand out "Services" for profit. They do more trauma to your children than anything, my family has been through hell with them, we have been fighting for over two years following all treatment plans and cannot get in front of a judge to present evidence/witnesses due to continuances, I finally had to resort to filing a Federal affadavit in District Court this week due to the egregious conduct of Department of Social Service withholding exculpatory evidence, lying to judges to get warrants and MORE! They do not abide by Constitutional law, as they are considered an ADR court, Social workers run rampant and trample your rights as a US citizen because of state immunity, contact me if your Constitutional rights have been violated and I will point you to a Federal Class action Lawsuit. I understand what you are going through! We are hoping to change policy and procedure within the Greenville County Family court system, it is beyond broken and they are pulling the wool over these family court judges eyes with no repercussions and leaving a trail of broken traumatized families in their wake. This has to end with policy change from the state government.

Well the only thing they have done right is to make my ex legally pay child support. With that being said only one payment...ONE... have they posted without me having to call or go hold their hand while the rummage threw their desk and bins to find whats been there waiting for weeks. Now my ex has made every payment on time and i do take in consideration the time it takes to process and then go threw the mail. At this time there two payments that have been missed that have been paid and have recieved confirmation that they were signed for that havent been posted. This is money i need to help provide for my children. There is a difference on being behind on work and slacking. Rant over.
