The host, who we assume was the owner sat us after waiting in the lobby. We sat for about 8-10 minutes before we had to flag her down to come get our drink order. She brought out water glasses that were dirty and had paper napkins floating in it. Asked for more water and she instantly was aggravated. The other drinks she brought were wrong. We never got an actual server, so the host came back to get our order. Food was OK. Broccoli was hard and ice cold. Too many tendons in the chicken breast. No sauce on the spaghetti. We had to ask for bread because she never brought it out. It came out with the meal and we were only given 2 pieces for our table of 4. Waited another 15 minutes after asking for the check. Noticed an additional $10 charge and when we asked about it the host who took our order said it was because we asked for chicken in the Alfredo. The menu clearly stated $3 for chicken but she charged us $10 and argued that it indeed was not $3. Ordered 2 drinks from the bar, a strawberry margarita and Tito’s and cranberry. Paid $25 for 2 drinks that tasted horrible so we didn’t even drink them. The strawberry margarita stated on the menu it was made with strawberry purée. The bartender used grenadine in place of the strawberry purée. I was a bartender for years. I know how to make a drink. And his count on a single was about a 13. He needs to be re-trained because they are missing out on alcohol sales. Even a double is not a 13 count! The place was booming. But you could tell who the locals were because the staff catered to them and sat at their tables talking and cutting up. Which is fine, but don’t neglect your other patrons. Worse service I ever had. I would not recommend this place in a million years. Never in my life have I left an establishment and not tipped. But after $25 wasted on alcohol and an additional $10 charge on top of poor service, I didn’t leave a tip and left a note about our experience. Do not eat here with high...
Read moreThe only reason a pool player like me would come here is for the diamond 9ft tables of which there are two. One of those tables has 4.5 inch pockets, and the other has 4.25 inch pockets.
The balls they have are not cleaned or polished in the times I have gotten them and are mismatched.
They have league a few nights during the week, and that means you will not get a table on those nights. And during football season, they cover the pool tables for the Ohio teams games. Which means you may wander in and find that you won't be able to play pool. So with the league nights and the weekend football games, finding time to shoot pool here is difficult.
The price per hour for the 9ft table is 7$ which is steep. They also have a lot of 7ft tables, but those suck to play on IMO, but they are cheaper 5$ an hour.
This place feels like a sports bar with pool tables rather than a pool hall with TV and food. Which pool tables take up over 70% of the space in the place, so I guess they just don't really make money on the tables.
If it were not for the one 9ft table with 4.25 inch pockets, I would never come here. If there were a place that had more than one table like this, I would never come here at all.
Pros - One 9ft, 4.25 inch pocket diamond table... that's it.
Cons - League nights, Table availability, Football shuts down pool,...
Read moreI was at the Coliseum this evening on the patio. An older gentleman was getting up to leave and fell into the couch and table. There were 4 to 5 men at the outside bar that saw him fall and began laughing. Three women went over to help him up while the men just sat there and laughed. One of them was Brad who I believe is an owner or a manager. The women went out to his vehicle to help him in (he was not driving). How in the world does someone not check on someone when they fall? Why is it that an owner/manager does not go to the aid of someone when they fall on their property and may have possibly sustained injuries? And why would 5 grownass men sit on their butts and let 3 women aid a man to his truck after he fell into metal furniture? Greenville...you stink as...
