This place was my favorite until about a month ago. It seems a lot of their staff turned over and now everything has become subpar. I have ordered the exact same bowl for over a year now and the past 3 times (since staff turnover) it has been barely half the size it always was in the past. The first time I noticed how small it was, I had online ordered so I didn’t realize until I got home. I called and left a voicemail asking for a refund - never got a call back and never got a refund. Then the bowl was just as small the next 2 times I got it (not online order) and I had to ask the staff to please fill it more because the amount of rice and greens they tried to give me was laughable tbh. I also asked for the free side pita that I always get via online order and the cashier looked at me like I had 3 heads. He said he was a new hire so he wasn’t sure and I said no worries, but then he said I had to show him my app (that’s not how it works?) so I just said forget it. It was just an extra annoyance after I already nicely asked the other staff to please give me bigger portions and still not being satisfied with any of it
No one was rude to me and the quality of the food itself wasn’t bad, I just think there is some serious inconsistency in the way the new staff has been trained and the portions are a huge downgrade. Value for the $$ you spend is nowhere near what it used to be. This place is close to me but no thanks…I’ll drive 20min to give the other location...

This place is filthy, food was good but I was grossed out how dirty the floors tables and bathrooms were. Workers also don’t keep good hygiene. Walked in today for a second time to again wait in line with all the workers ignoring us for a good 5 minutes. Until I couldn’t stand to watch how they were washing food heaters and spraying chemicals right next to the sauces that were right there couple inches away! I mean can’t you wash those after you close up the restaurant and not when there are people to be served? I lost my appetite after looking at how nasty those food heaters were and how she was washing and taking the dirty rag with all the filth and washing it out less than a foot away from the food that they serve to people. Read moreMs. Beverly is the best! She has helped us every time we visit. Someone always greets us, but unless we're ready to order right then, no one ever comes back to take our order. But Ms. Beverly always takes care of us! Tonight we waited a while for someone to come back. Eventually someone took my husband's order, asked if that was all for him, and when he replied his wife still needed to order, she walked off and left his food on the counter, and me waiting. Several employees made eye contact with us, but kept talking and horseplaying with each other. However, one employee was running around busy doing several to go orders, but still acknowledged us and let us know someone would be right with us. She also tried to encourage some others to assist me. Finally, Ms. Beverly emerged from the back, like an angel, got me squared away, found my husband's food left on the counter, and rang us up so we could be on our way. Again, Ms. Beverly is the best, and we hope all our interactions at Cava...
