Grimes City Hall — Attraction in Grimes

Not going to rate better until I see how my request is handled. We built a home in the Beaverbrooke area of NW Grimes about 8 years ago. My home and fifteen or so more, share pond "J" in our back yards. The area has several ponds with beautiful fountains. Pond "J" is without a fountain and for years the water has become less pond and more swamp like! The developed property around pond "J" is worth millions of dollars and deserves attention. I am raising a petition to have a fountain installed to help control some of the scum and odor of the water. Extremely poor quality water. Asked for services to be shut off because we moved in winter.. and they were shut off for awhile, since we checked and made sure no further water was coming out of the pipes, but somehow they got turned back on? I wish I could give zero stars. We originally paid our water bill through our bank, but they couldn't seem to get that straight, so I set up auto pay through their system, but they couldn't get that right either and shut our water off without warning despite it being correctly set up and paid.
