In a world where superlatives like 'amazing' have been so de-valued by their over-use, it's refreshing to come across any creature comfort that truly earns the label, and keeps that label over time with such consistency. I've enjoyed Elan toffees since Maralyn opened her store, and have given her edibles to dozens of people, always with the same rave reviews. It's not at all unusual to watch a recipient taste the candies for the first time (invariably a female), watch her eyes close involuntarily as if being transported to some far away happy-place, and upon re-gaining consciousness, slowly and surreptitiously, slip the box underneath something that effectively hides it from hubby and kids....yeah,...

I mean what I can I say! Pecans and toffee; where can you go wrong. I received a box of the plain elan for Christmas about 5 years ago. Omg! This is candy is fact the best candy I’ve ever eaten. Fresh ingredients, just the right amount of crunch and butter.
