Despite my personal research to request for my wedding nail design after 2-3 trials, I did not get what I had hoped to have for my wedding day after my final request. More importantly, I took my two maid of honors with me to pay for their nails and they stated that their experience was 'awkward and uncomfortable.' One of the coworkers did not do a french tip for one of them, stating that her nails were too short (from my research, it's suitable for any nail length). The same coworker also brought the receipt to my friend while her nails were drying, pointed to the tip line and said, 'tip?' She told her that I was paying, then walked away begrudgingly. My nails were ridiculed as well, saying that they were too short even though mine ended up being a simple solid color. My nails were torn/ripped just prior to the appointment, as I was recently doing yardwork and hands on work in the medical field. So I had to trim them just enough to keep some length. The worker just repeated her statement of them being too short despite this statement to her. And the filing work was more abrasive than I recalled from previously as the skin surrounding my nails were irritated from the filing with microscrapes. As a result, I was nervous for close up pictures of my hands on the wedding day. Lastly, when I made the appointment, I had scheduled for pedicures first and then manicures. I never got a confirmation text for the manicures so I called to confirm an hour before the appointment. They said it was confirmed. We show up for our session and the coworkers doing our pedicure were very unaware of our manicure appointment and seemed upset about this 'last minute request.' It makes me wonder if this is why our manicure session was not a pleasant experience (pedicure was great tho!). At one point during my session, I was also waiting for 10 minutes without warning from my nail technician. Overall, transition from pedicure into manicure seemed fairly discombobulated. Sorry for the length, but I hope this helps someone find a...
Read moreThis was my second visit to Mi Nails the first time was ok but not enough for me to completely write them off so I tried again.! My first visit I got a pink & white and 5 of my 10 nails started to lift about 2 days after getting them done, also my pedicure was mediocre but I chalked it up to the tech. My polish also smudged after leaving but my feet was done before my hands so I assumed that they were dry. My 2nd visit I waited a over an hour, I didn’t have a appointment so I wasn’t tripping. When they finally got to me I was a make tech TAM, he was rude from the start from being a little aggressive with my hands and acting frustrated. I told him I needed a Gel fill in due to me being allergic to Acrylic. He still grabbed the acrylic after I told him I couldn’t use that and I even went on to tell him the way my hands would would react which wasn’t his business. He then said ok $5.00 extra for Gel I said that’s no problem, he then grabs the brush out of the acrylic powder and proceeded to put it on the acetone and then the gel. I asked if he could use a different brush, he got very frustrated and started speaking a different language which caught the attention of Sam the tech that was sitting next to him. Sam then says he cleaned it with the acetone I said I know my body and I know what will happen if he uses that and if it would be ok for me to bring my ER bill to them for them to pay when I have this reaction. He says yea do that while laughing, I said you don’t have any fresh brushes he says no. So I stood up and left. With Covid every customer should be serviced with fresh utensils. My experience this time was poor and I will never return. Very...
Read moreLove this place. It was my first time here and i thought the facility was clean, the people were friendly and super nice! While we were finishing up a horrible karen came in complaining and screaming about the quality of her nails. There were children in the facility and she was just downright disgusting to the staff. Her micro (boarding macro) aggression comments were horrific and demands for action that were unrealistic were gross. She has left multiple inaccurate reviews about the facility on several sites. The facility is clean, not “insanitary” as she claims. Which should be un- anyways… She also is stating she is going to claim fraud on her card for the transaction…lady you are admitting to lying online??? She also mentioned she had a daughter and goodness i hope she isn’t teaching her daughter that behaving this way is acceptable. Further more, there was a gentleman who had special needs was so overstimulated and had to leave the facility due to her behavior. Absolutely unacceptable. The staff handled the situation with grace and attempted to find resolution and she huffed and puffed the whole time. I would 100% come back here and highly recommended it for anyone (unless you have a stick up your ass). Left feeling absolutely satisfied and recommend highly! They offer pedicures service for children and overall are...
