Needed to issue a chargeback just to get a response.
I tried to buy a gift certificate on their website, but because of the layout of the store I ended up with an account credit for myself (which I cannot give as a gift). Within two minutes I emailed asking to fix it. (Note: Email was to info-at-surrendermassagefloat.com - the one listed on their site) I got no reply, even when I followed up twice.
Eventually I issued a chargeback, which got me an email (from info-at-surrendermassagefloat.com) about how all sales are final (They aren't, their own receipt email includes a 12-hour refund policy). No mention was made of the multiple emails I sent.
Based upon how they handled this utterly routine purchase issue - by ignoring me then trying to scam me out of money by hiding behind a policy - I do not intend to ever do business with this company...
Read moreI had to deduct a star because they lead you in and out with music. It cuts into about 15 to 20 minutes of your time. You can't control the volume or even shut it off. When I went the music was too loud for me to relax and settle in. I ended up getting out of my tank, putting my towel on and asking the guy at the desk if there was a way that I could adjust it. He said sorry and that he was the only one. You'd think after I told him it was too loud that he'd lower the volume for when it came back on to let you know it was the end, but he did not, so I was jolted back to reality by the blast of the music. Read moreI booked, and paid for, a 90 minute float. But on the day of, they accidently only set the timer for 60 minutes. The owner was very apologetic, and said she was going to refund me the entire amount for the error. But then she never refunded me, and several attempts to contact them, voicemail and email both, have gone unanswered. The float was amazing, and mistakes happen, and I would have been more than happy with a partial refund, but to not get any compensation was upsetting.
