I have been to BHB and this place it of the highest caliber. The owner has gone to great extents to provide the highest caliber / great value pieces to local shoppers. She has hired one of the best graphic designers to market her products and it is so apparent. Whenever I read a bunch of negative spins bunched together and see association with babies it is either one of 2 things:
Either the staff treated the customer/baby below par or the mother was inconsiderate of other customers and refused to manage the situation with respect to others. I had two children with colic and on numerous times we had to pull the lovely yet unseemly screamers to a better location so we did not annoy others in public trying to enjoy their time and experience wherever they were. And of course with all the OSHA and health care concerns we would not endeavor to change their diapers in a place not prepared for such things that could also effect others in a negative way because some parent did not handle that issue with respect and dignity to others.
Sometime young mothers find themselves under pressure because a child may have colic (sometimes for 2-3 months with zero solution) and a dad who won't help and they may make a wrong decision. We all make mistakes. But my guess is the Mom was under stress and a staff member was trying to manage things the best she could and maybe the Colic siren went off and all parties had a measure of slight panic.
Whatever the case, it is wonderful to see a wounded mom with so many friends who will have her back and so many customers who have the back of Beach House Botique (BHB) who know the actually truth.
Whatever the case I know BHB is a great store with exceptional talent and products. Their head of marketing and graphic designer is 2 steps ahead of most in her field based on what I have seen and their staff was very kind to me. The owner is very competitive and has a great eye for products and talent and will continue to have a successful store for local and visiting shoppers.
Wisdom is justified of her children and may all parties learn from this and be better Moms, friends and shoppers. And by all means continue to enjoy BHB and other great stores...

The owner of the store made it as difficult as possible to gain a sale and as a small business owner, she obviously wasn’t appreciative of the sale.
